    My dad Winfred Parsons worked there he retired in 1978 I believe he worked 44 yrs and 4 months. He was in the box shop for the first 40 yrs. I have a few pics of when he retired and his employee badge.

    My family worked at the Charleston plant and the Lathrop, CA plant

      I worked at the Lathrop Automotive Plant from 1994-1997. It was also a large float plant..it shut down in 2014 I believe. Good times and I worked with a bunch of my father's childhood friends.

    How can I get a copy of some of the pictures used in this video? There are several of my grandfather, Lawrence LeFevre, that I've never seen before.

    I lived on 58TH Street beside the LOF Plant in the 1960's - 70's. I would play in the train cars and sometimes hopped a ride to town on one.

    I remember seeing smoke come out of the stacks for years.
