Built it, loved it, thanks a lot! I love elevators like these I might try some mechanism so I can call the elevator, for example if I'm down and the elevator is already up It would also be cool experimenting with this and try to make it multi level
Just connect a trail of redstone dust or redstone torches trom the bottom floor to the top floor, connect it to what makes the flying machine go to the bottom floor
@kareemelzabadani3557 or the wall mechanic to update and make a redstone signal to both sides, so I can call the elevator with the same button I use to go up/down
TOMCO! Could you PLEASE do a tutorial for a double block piston extender (basically the double extender in a 3x3) I can't find ANY tutorials for bedrock on one.
Mine was working fine but now the observer to send the elevator down keeps getting stuck on the elevator and the elevator breaks. Do you know how to find this?
Love this design! I also added another button on the top redstone part underneath that I can hit with a wind charge so now I have a call function or if the elevator leaves without me 😅 Keep doing what you're doing 👌

Hi tomco can I ask if you can make a 3×3×2 endrod pistone door? Like imma describe it. On the back it's a flat 3×3 door and in the front there's 4 endrod and 1 block of choice in the middle. Can you do it pls?
how does the elevator decide where to stop? do the pistons on the top stop it with push limit and when they activate with the button they become immovable and that's why the machine starts moving?
@TomcoTwo since it uses push limit to stop, would it be possible to make a floor select/multiple floor design by using some sort of toggle which could add onto the push limit of the players choice?
@TomcoTwo after getting the confirmation it might be possible I started working on it and I managed to make a system which locks a floor making the flying machine stop at it or you can leave it unlocked to let if fly past it to the next locked floor, I just have to figure out a floor selection and I think it should be done
@TomcoTwo I managed to design an up and down system elevator with 3 floors using your slime machine design, my redstone on it is pretty messy but it works
Hi I know this is late but I just had the same problem, I believe the blocks surrounding the elevator are sticking to the honey/slime blocks of the elevator, try replacing all of them with obsidian or glazed terracotta (blocks that can’t be moved) or removing those blocks altogether. I hope this helps!
mine does the same thing but sometimres pistons work differntly if they are placed in a certain direction like north n south so thats what im thinking (am on bedrock)
@@TomcoTwoi built it exactly and when it gets to the top, one half of the floor goes up an extra layer, while the other half stops in the right spot. I’ve rebuilt it 3 times and it is doing the same thing, I was wondering if you could help me
@kobywoby3167 I’d check that the flying machine is built correct, especially the extra block that I added on one side. I remember pointing that out specifically so it shouldn’t be too hard to find
No matter what I do people always complain, I go to fast people say it’s confusing and tell me to slow down, I explain too much people get bored, I explain to little people don’t understand, I go to slow I get told to hurry up and stop wasting time. Like I get the video isn’t perfect for you, but there’s no middle ground here where everyone’s happy
Mine did the same thing where it didn’t go down, It went up but when I hit it down it went down but then after 2 - 3 blocks it went back up, but I rebuilt everything it worked
If you build the top in the wrong direction it will in fact rip in half so probably check that before you start it

I built this step by fucking step and yet when we do the movement of the red stone YOU HAVE CHANGED THE WHOLE BUILD AROUND
I didn’t change the build at all, I may have moved perspective or changed my view point but I certainly hadn’t changed any block
