Hi Tom. A question about grooving with Mastercam I'm curious about is can you cut dovetails perpendicular to a taper? Say a 45 degree angle? Thank you for your videos, I've learned so much about cnc work and I haven't even scratched the surface, I'd like to learn more about Mastercam, but I don't know when I would get to use it.
Hi Tom, Thank you very much for these brilliant videos, I spent the last few days watching them and taking notes. Regarding this video, I wish if you can show us the G-code from MASTERCAM for machining the tapered groove. I understand from your videos how to write G-code to machine a square groove using G75 and a 90 degree cutting tool, but I cannot imagine how the G-code would be to machine a tapered groove with two rounded corners at the base using the same 90 degree cutting tool!!!
