Hey brother I just finished my 2000 Montero sport timing belt. The harmonic balancer and crankshaft timing gear were trashed. I noticed when you shut it off sometimes there's slack between the driver's side camgear and the water pump pulley. It depends on how the engine stops. I did it over and same.
