Sorry for the screwup at the end of the video. Uploaded without checking. Trying to cut the last few seconds to fix the blunder.
Silly human making human mistakes! lol. So pumped for SOTE!
Would love to see a retrospective on Bloodborne, Elden Ring, all your favorite games!
Between now and June 21st I'll definitely cook up something. Just gotta figure out an angle.

All the game consoles in my house are divided up between my husband and my son. With every game you recommend makes me want to buy my own console so I can play them.
Or a really solid PG gaming computer and you'd have access to most of the good stuff out there.
Great 👍🏻 video as always!
I have yet to play Elden Ring (Desperately need a new computer) but that trailer was amazing.
Love it anytime you find a way to talk about the amazing genre that is fantasy.
One of my favorite videos on this platform is watching Brandon Sanderson & Joe Abercrombie talking about their Elden Ring builds.
Keep it up! 👍🏻.
I saw that video as well. I'm obsessed with Abercrombie. Dying for him to publish another novel. I tore through the 9 First Law books as well as the short story collection 'Sharp Ends'.
A month away, all that's left before that is the 3hr Vaati breakdown of the trailer lol. IF ONLY Bandai Namco took on Tolkien, this trailer was giving me such Silmarillion vibes. Holy sh*t the imagery! It's as if Alan Lee, Ted Nasmith and John Howe somehow combined and had a baby.
Wise words, wise words 🙌
Happy to hear you got around to playing Bloodborne! It’s up there with Elden Ring for me. I’m gonna recommend to you again for the thousandth time (sorry) please play Red Dead Redemption 2 when you get the chance, it’s one of the best experiences you’ll go through. Can’t wait for Shadow of the Erdtree man, it’s gonna make my summer.
Edit: looool the end 😂
Yeah, I somehow added a clip to the end instead of outro. I was out the door when I realized my mistake and started kicking myself.
Is the Garfield-Furiosa Memorial Day weekend opening this year’s Barbenheimer?? Gariosa??
Lol, I'll be seeing Furiosa on Thurs but Hit Man by Richard Linklater is another strong contender this weekend. It'll be in limited release.
Definitely going to play Elden Ring this year now that I have a ps5
You are in for a rare treat. It's colossal.
I love all of this, I wish I didn't have to play the goddamn game to get at it.
When you're in New York for TriBeCa, give me a few hours to give you a tutorial. I'll have you crushing content in no time flat.
I would love to play some Elden Ring with the master geek James. You got a patreon setup with those kind of rewards? That's something for which I'd pay!
Oh hell, I'd gladly kill some bosses alongside anyone. I shamelessly use co-op anytime I'm getting crushed trying to figure out the strategy for a boss.
@geekinwithJamesHancock Oh yeah, I don't know if I could handle the suffering if I had to endure From Software games alone. Playing Wizard tour guide and exploring the world with my friends has been one of my favorite gaming experiences of the last few years.
At 04:23 is that a dragon?!
Nope it’s the lion dancer from the first trailer. It actually seems to be 2 Omens inside of a costume. Look closely and you’ll see a hand holding the bottom jaw.
@@ericwalker6477 cool. Never played ER but am super intrigued.
@@tjk3430 it’s not easy but it so satisfying once you beat a boss. It’s 100% worth a try
@@ericwalker6477 They are three Omens and you can see all three impaled by Messmer.
@@dynamicflashy yea I see 3 up there. I guess we will find out soon
I love movies soooo much but at what point do we say games have eclipsed movies as the premier medium? Not that one is better than the other, but movies have stagnated, and games have not reached there peak potential yet.
Tv has already passed movies that feel like cookie-cutter and has less depth. Videogames are so immersive and satisfying. Elden Ring, God of War, and Last of Us is peak story-telling.
I've heard that the market for video games is about 4x larger than film and television combined so for a lot of people that debate is already settled.
