Love your vids, I am always looking for local spots in the Denver Metro to catch fish besides Aurora, Chatfield, or Cherry Creek. The best part is you show us how, and more importantly WHERE we can catch fish. I can't stand the Jerks who act like a public waterway is their private honeyhole. Keep up the good work
Man I really appreciate the kind words brother it means a lot! Inner city ponds, creeks and streams are my favorite! So many good small and overlooked fisheries around the metro forsure!! Thanks for watching brother🤜🤛
Nice to see there are some local spots I haven't found. I've been google mapping bodies of water all over and around Denver this past summer. A lot of garbage spots but a lot of hidden gems.
Man you are right about there unfortunately being a lot of garbage spots :/ that is forsure the best way to find the hidden gems though! Also networking has been great, meeting more fisherman has shown me everyone has a honey hole!!🎣
This is my first season fishing in Lakewood and I am struggling! Going to keep at it and try some different rigs. I’m sure I’ll get on the fish eventually.
Hey brother! Bass fishing in CO in general is tough especially when it's the dog days of summer, basically when it's hottest here in CO! I recommend fishing early and towards the evening to catch the bigger fish and get them more consistently but definitely try different techniques because every lake fishes differently! Also lots of pond hopping, I often hit several ponds in a single day of fishing just to find a few fish, hope this helps brother best of luck fish on🎣🎣🎣
@@fishingcolorado my guy!!!! Very much appreciate the feedback, that was super helpful and insightful! Going to get back at it this weekend and try my luck. I actually got a smallmouth and a largemouth since I posted that comment 10 days ago! Persistence is key. definitely going to stick with it. Let me know if you’re ever down to link up! I’m always willing to meet new friends, and go one adventures! Cheers man thanks again!
We're experiencing terrible fishing in Fort Collins for the past month. The ash and stuff from the fires is running down the rivers into every lake and pond. Fish are lethargic.
Nice work! I just met you up in Boulder at the ponds. I'm going to look into those soft plastics. What pond are you fishing at with those cool older wooden stairs? Those are some nice bass.
Nice! I've been looking at that head hunter online since it released & debating whether or not I should buy it. Idk why I haven't yet but I think I'll definitely check it out after watching this video. 10k Fish makes awesome products. Never been disappointed yet 👍
Dude yeahh you definitely should, so worth it! I love their products!! I think I've seen you using that Sukoshi bug a few different times haha that's one I'm gonna have to throw a little more too! Thanks for checking out the video brother🎣
I will definitely start attempting it brother but it's one of those techniques I'm still gaining confidence in! Maybe I can start to get a little better myself🤜🤛
Bro I tried fishing there just before corona came about and there were like 3 Karens complaining that you can't fish there. It's heavy populated but is it allowed to fish? Just want to catch a fish!!!
Don’t fish there there might still be sign that say you can’t fish there but I’ve always wanted to because you can see the fish off the dock the 2nd location that is
Honestly the first spot I believe is community property because there is absolutely zero signs about fishing however since they're apartments parking is a little sketchy! The second spot now that's a different story haha and then the 3rd spot that one is public
That was a tank bro .....
Thanks brother!!
Awesome!!!
Thanks Seven!!!
I'm get a head hunter for sure
Do it!! I've got like 5 currently haha
I know that pond well
I like it a lot! I really like the island in the middle it gives a lot of structure🎣
I been fishing there every day for the past week trying to catch one of the massive carp but never no luck
Football in that last spot. Where was that? Don't recognize it.

@chrisbegger8684 Are there any bodies of water you recommend for bass on the front range? Other than aurora, chatfield, cherry creek,

Those are the ones that hurt you😂 haha especially the little ones, always trying to hook you! Thank you though brother🎣
Where was the last pond at
Where is this location

Oh no, I'm really hoping these fires die down here soon :/ also fishing should pick up here really soon with the fall transition!!
Nice work! I just met you up in Boulder at the ponds. I'm going to look into those soft plastics. What pond are you fishing at with those cool older wooden stairs? Those are some nice bass.
Heyy Eric right?! Glad to see you found the channel brother, that spot was actually called Lakeview towers in Belmar

can you fish some drop shot technique
I will definitely start attempting it brother but it's one of those techniques I'm still gaining confidence in! Maybe I can start to get a little better myself🤜🤛
Wheres the spot??? Im from commerce city id would love to know the spot
I'd rather not say brother I'm typically pretty low key with these spots since so many people see the videos and comments :/ I hope you understand
What size head hunter do you use?
Bro I tried fishing there just before corona came about and there were like 3 Karens complaining that you can't fish there. It's heavy populated but is it allowed to fish? Just want to catch a fish!!!
Yeahh:/ I would never come here like midday honestly, & recently my buddy got the cops called on him so idk haha
Don’t fish there there might still be sign that say you can’t fish there but I’ve always wanted to because you can see the fish off the dock the 2nd location that is
But I’m looking forward to mastering the art of jigging this year
I don't want to give away any hidden spots of yours, but were you fishing on H.O.A. or community property? Just curious.
Honestly the first spot I believe is community property because there is absolutely zero signs about fishing however since they're apartments parking is a little sketchy! The second spot now that's a different story haha and then the 3rd spot that one is public
@@fishingcolorado Cool, thanks my brotha!
@@fishingcolorado do people trip at the 2nd spot?
I've honestly been lucky and just had a few people comment, but my buddy had the cops called on him recently :/ so I'm a little hesitant now
@@fishingcolorado damn that sucks. What did the cop tell him? Just to leave? I fished there and only had 1 guy say something.
