Thank you so much doctor, your advice helped me through covid with your vitamin D3 advice. Tested 3 times and no covid for me and NO vaccine for me yaye!!!!!!
Excellent topic. Great details. The only thing you need to make a correction on is regarding the Spanish Influenza. It was not Avian in nature. The source was from human / porcine and it was Spain that discovered it's existence which is where the name came from but the virus did not originate from Spain. It originated from the united states in 1917 and infected Americans took it to Europe via boat and half of the soldiers died from the virus before the boats made it to Europe

Does anyone else think that maybe we should stop giving immunogenic drugs to farm animals?
I've been working on a farm for a couple years, and am shocked by the amount of medications they're given.
Thanks for sharing. Do you mind letting us know what kind of medications are often given?
What meds?
@@partdeux992
I'm only a farm hand, so am not involved in selecting them - but the last lot was Heptavac - 2 doses a few weeks apart - a vaccine which is apparently for clostridial and pasturellosis. I'm pretty sure there were others, but it's possible they were for a different flock. We've certainly had many sessions of delivering them.
The sheep also have worming drenches every 2-3 months (at a guess).
They ALWAYS get worms. Learning how important the gut biome is, it makes me wonder what the risk/benefit is like.
The cattle seem to get less than the sheep, and are mainly just tested for TB.
What are your thoughts on this?
Yes...please stop!
And also stop feeding poultry litter to cows. In California, farms are required to heat the poultry litter to kill germs before feeding it to cattle. But it's still gross.
You have been a step ahead in research & informing your collective & for that I deeply thank you, Dr.
Another brilliant update. Thank you for what you do. Richard Cook, MD
Thank you kindly
My mother in law had the avian flu in the 80’s. The canyons in San Diego were home to seagulls. When construction began the bird feces was disturbed and hundreds got the avian flu. Very ill.
Construction can also cause ground water contamination, thousands of such cases have been seen in the modern era and althopugh officials prefer to attribute such illnesses to natural causes please remember the financial interests inherant of shifting blame.
Most viruses can't survive long in acidic feces or dry conditions. Don't know about influenza specifically, but my guess is drying or acidic feces will kill it.
Or ppl could make viruses and cause world damage and how zero done to them

its dark sorcery, keep your spirit up friends
Truth is, none of this is new. Viruses have been involving and emerging and helping us to encode our own DNA for millennia, The only difference now is you have social media and news companies who have a vested interest in spoon feeding a concentrated narrative of fear... Been in reality this isn't really anything to worry about. It isn't even unusual. Just requires normal precautions based on what the human race knows today about fending off bugs. Stay away from socials and 'news'
I agree with you about not watching things of this nature at night, or even when I have a down day.

Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, AZ just diagnosed my friends, husband and wife with bird flu. Very sick, bed ridden for two weeks . Wife got it first then her husband and finally Mayo told them it tested positive for bird flu. They have no chickens or animals.
Interesting that it hasn’t popped up on the CDC as yet
Very interesting and educational. Thank you.
This is the *first* time I’ve seen a decent explanation about this outbreak. I’ve seen some coverage of it but IMO not enough. Maybe the outbreaks like H1N1 in the past and last year’s avian flu have desensitized us?
Thanks for the info doc!
Thank you for keeping us informed
Love your work. Thank you for taking the time to share your knowledge.
Great video!
Here we go again :(
lets get this show on the road way to many people on earth, we need a reset
Thank you for the advice and information. Keep up the good work.
Need urgent policy intervention to ban feeding cows poultry litter(poultry feces etc) until it can be ruled out as a vehicle. It may easily be spreading HPAI, which would be a huge risk if introduced into the porcine population. Pigs are closer to humans in molecular features which make them higher risk of reassortment. If poultry litter is the problem stop now.
Pigs are a known mixing animal, so pigs getting it would be very concerning!
They need to stop overcrowding animals and treat them humanely then they won’t need to medicate the hell out of them and THAT is what creates super bugs.
What we need to do is stop consuming animals!
Thank you
This is good, but maybe they should have used quercetin phytosomes.
>>Albeit the direct antiviral action of quercetin on H1N1 was not as strong as ribavirin, the result showed quercetin was less toxic and able to inhibit CDK4 mRNA and protein overexpression in H1N1-infected A459 cells.Nov 18, 2022
Quercetin has pretty bad bioavailability (1-2% if I remember correctly). Those cell cultures don't prove anything. I know am not statistical significant, but when I developed covid symptoms, I immediately started taking the recommended dose (1g/d), and it didn't show any effects, respectively it couldn't contain the virus in the body (spread from throat to nose, which ended in a complete loss of smell/taste within 7 days for 2 days). I don't say it doesn't have positive effects, but I doubt the antiviral inhibition effects with oral application.
@@user-jd7gh2ef4s Quercetin phytosomes are approx. 50x more absorbable and bioavailable. That is what was used in the C19 research around the world, same with Curcumin. (Phytosomes) or Liposomal if you will.
Any protocols on the local hospital level with the state health department? Sampling and serotyping? Using PCR amplification film-array methodology. Etiology of organism - possible migratory wild bird from the southern hemisphere coming from Mexico?
we followed you all through covid. ty for keeping us all in the know. what if any difference would it make if we didn’t eat meat? a vegan diet?
Seems like in most cases a vegan diet leads to better outcomes for diseases. That's not medical advice though
Industrial scale farming of animals is probably not helpful.
Yes and eating animals in general is not kind or necessary at all.
Can you do a update on the virus now that it has been found in 34 farms across multiple states? It has also been confirmed to have infected cats in connection with the farms and probably cows. Thanks for the videos doc ✌🏻
Also waste water…
This is very helpful--thank you, Dr Seheult. The way that birds get sick and die so quickly, might prove to be a good thing--as infections might be mostly contained if it were to get into a wild flock. A big concern would be it if were to affect a poultry farm, as a farmer could lose his entire stock. I am wondering if perhaps farms could be outfitted with UVC lights to disinfect the air? And whether infra-red lamps might be able to protect the herds and flocks from bad outcome if they were to get sick? I'm also wondering if the change in season and increased infra-red exposure might explain how the cows and humans in Texas that were infected may have avoided severe outcome. Disease happens. Videos like this can help us to keep cool heads.
Yes. True. Good questions.
Influenza originates in the migratory bird population as it is endemic in their species (geese, ducks). They show no signs of sickness but nearly all of them carry the virus. Every year they bring back new strains from the southern areas and spread it via their feces. This is why turkey and chicken farms are enclosed and precautions are taken by farmers to not track debris into the barns. As the doctor stated, the whole barn will die in couple days. This is why 'free range' chicken farming cannot be done a large scale. It only takes one duck to land amongst the domestic population chickens to kill all of them.
Better hygiene and living arrangements for the animals would go a long way to better health.
Don't listen to the govt health officials.
Thanks for keeping us up to date on this. I remember getting the shot for the swine flu that came out of Mexico in 2009, I think it was. I remember disposing of a dead squirrel we found near the apartment building a few weeks ago. I wonder if we should have alerted animal control instead.
It could have gotten into rat poison.
I caught the swine flu (2008?) a month before the vaccines were available. I felt like I'd have to get better to die.
Thanh you
? Dr. Seheult - you mention positive cases in both animals and humans. How accessible is H5N1 testing for doctors? Is it extremely difficult to access like COVID testing initially was?
Idk about anyone else, but when I hear about a virus that we know about, but we don't have access to testing for, I get very nervous.
Yes. I’m sure only cdc has ability to test.
Can you expand on transmission? You mention direct contact. What does direct contact mean and how does the virus get into our body? Lastly, any airborne transmission known? Thank you.
Droplet at this point. Not airborne.

Would truly appreciate your thoughts!! And, if true, why would anyone want to try to make it stronger! I don't understand!! Appreciate any thoughts you have!! God bless you!! ❤🤗🙏🙏
Agree. We have to look
Thank you for your gift to make the complicated stuff understandable! Could you update us on the latest research in dairy milk cows and H5N1. Saw there has been new findings in cows utters and pigs receptors sites making it easier to mutate. That new mutations already found suggest mammalian adaptation that seems worrisome. Currently the CDC has required states to supply PPE to farm workers in contact with cows… that worries me because that is a lot of PPE. At my hospital we only got 1 mask and face shield a day during height of Covid to conserve supply. How can we have enough to supply medical world and 30 million cows we have in USA?
If this is so deadly and they have a vaccine for it.. Why wouldn't they add it each year to the yearly flu vaccine series.
Good question. Need to look
They are vaccinating in Japan in a limited fashion at this time. Since N5H1 has not jumped to humans in any significance way, it is impossible to verify if it is even effective. Especially since the final form of H5N1 may not even be the current form.
Wouldn’t cysteine be better than NAC, Dr Seheult?
Excellent history Dr Seheult! Thanks for your time. Go Highlanders! Glad they got the Med School going. I confess though, I hated the biomeds pushing up the means in my Ochem classes back in the day 😂
Tell me about it. My wife was one of those. She taught me how to study.
Interestingly, because I was a chemistry major, I took calculus based physics, which was harder material, but a much easier curve, because the biomed only had to take algebra based physics. That was easier material but killer curves.
Great to have a Scientific update!!

Are animal vaccines available?
As a vaccination is already available, it should be deployed. That takes time, why wait? You only have one chance to be ahead of something...
Vaccines , that worked so well a few years ago.

RIP MedCram...
Dr.Seheult, what should we do about bird droppings and birds being around pools or water sources in our backyards/ yards?
You mentioned thoroughly cooking red meat , What about freezing it It would be appreciated if this was covered in a following video .
In laboratories viruses are stored in freezers to keep them alive. Just saying.😂
I am an epidemiologist through education and training (Epidemiology and Community Health). I have been carefully monitoring Avian Influenza for approximately 2-1/2 years. I observed it when it was predominantly a disease of domestic poultry flocks. I watched it as it species jumped in a mink ranch in Spain. I watched as it was detected in sea mammals in the Americas. I was alerted via PROMED as it was detected in cattle herds in two US states. Now it has infected at least one human although in my qualified opinion there have been multiple undetected human infections with symptoms remaining subclinical. Fragments of the virus have been detected in the domestic milk supply. Now potential bovine to bovine transmission and bovine to human transmission.
This should alarm any reasonable medical type yet my efforts to raise an alarm were met with a deafening silence. IF and or WHEN the virus mutates to cause clinical infections in humans people will long for the "good ole days" of COVID. Admittedly Anthony Fauci is no longer bankrolling Communist China's bioweapons program so it might take considerable time for the virus to mutate in its natural state, but some mutations are inevitable. The US Government needs to start stockpiling anti-viral agents as well as gloves, N-95 masks, N-100 masks, and P-100 masks.
Does this mean we shouldn't be filling our wild bird feeders?
Wash your hands!
@@SusanKay- Well, yes, they should wash hands. But that shuts off only a minor pathway to infection. Inhaling droplets is the major pathway.
Thom Hartman covered this. Talked about how a pig got human flu and H1N1 i think. The new pandemic was his headline i think.
Would not be surprised to learn that there are people who have it but have not been diagnosed. "Can't be sick need to be at work". 100% fatal to cats? Not a good thing.
I had the H1N1 vaccine in the early 2,000s when swine flu was making the rounds. Would that help with immunity towards H5N1?
Not really
Is the H5N1 vaccine mentioned at about 12:45 readily available, exorbitantly expensive ... ???
Has any seasonal vaccine ever been made from an H5-containing virus strain?
Question. If it is in Cows and Calves and Goats and Kids will it affect Sheep and Lambs?
If you can eat them, it will affect them
Best info on the net.
What about recombination with other flu viruses, human and animal? Couldn't that make it instantly transmissible between humans?
I would use caution regarding 50-60% human fatality rate. Are we speaking about IFR or CFR, the latter of which is completely unknown.
Should humans be concerned about dairy products, cheese, eggs, meats, consumed.
Not from an H5N1 standpoint if heated.

Surgical mask wearing not only stop droplets, but also maintain higher mucouseal respiratory temperature.
true. also u have the added bonus of breathing in microfibers.
@@partdeux992 😀
The problem with surgical masks is that they backflush the filter material thus spreading the disease. A proper valved respirator will not backflush the filter material. The valved respirator will also go to a P100 grade protection level where surgical masks might get to the N95 level if they can seal properly (have never wore one that did). The best filter media for respirators is rated for acid vapors. The neutralizing alkali in them will destroy the lipid shell of the virus by saponification (makes soap out of lipids/fats).
How did they know the prisoner and rancher had H5N1 when we don't test for it? Our PCR machine only detects FluA and FluB.
