- As commercial banks start sharing information with the Kenya Revenue Authority to boost tax compliance by both residents and foreigners, the Kenya bankers association has moved to reassure customers that their data will be safe and that information shared will be done in line with the data protection act.
We should start demanding for better services with the same aggression that the government is putting in collecting taxes. If we are going to pay debts we want every single receipts of how much loan was taken and how they were used down to every single cent and photograph/evidence of those projects, how much was budgeted which ones were completed and the cost of completion, plus all the tenders awarded and the persons/businesses that won those tenders.. and the main shareholders of those businesses.

I can see banks losing customers here. Especially those who live and work abroad but own bank accounts back home. They will as well opt to use foreign banks.
