I think that it is worth mentioning that on the morning of the Tournament of Roses parade these students would have woken to the news of the Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan. Notwithstanding the Tsunami was downgraded and the main area of impact was on the West coast, not where Toho MB is from (as far as I know) and in spite of undoubtedly being immersed in the California experience it would have still been very unwelcome news and a big anxiety for many of them. Nonetheless they performed their music and showmanship, and no doubt gave it their all for the spectators and for those who had invested time in them on this tour. Salute to you all and well done!! Kudos too to GForce183 for leaving the comment section here open, unlike some other content related channels who still seem to be indulging in self-imposed censorship stemming from that peculiar storm in a teacup controversy that occurred during the Tachibana tour back in 2018! Surely, it's time to move on from this and give the Green bands the exposure and publicity that is appropriate! Best wishes and regards from Australia.

I had the good fortune of attending this benefit concert, and one of the performances that unfortunately was not uploaded onto UA-cam was a song written by Mr. Junichi Naito and was dedicated to the victims of the recent fire on the island of Maui in Hawaii back in August 2023. This beautiful song also involved singing by the members of the Toho Marching Band with later instrumentation.
