They got a new body double for Luke, who looks scarily like him in real life, I could easily accept him as the new Luke with the deepfake, but it wouldn’t be star wars, not pushing technology beyond it’s limits.
Your dad saying he needed this one... This is the power of Star Wars when done right. Hope Star Wars will provide many more episodes like this for people to get through life's challenges
@Doctah Wahwee not hated, but I think most would agree the sequel trilogy is inarguably the weakest Star Wars content. No one would be disappointed in some kind of reboot or directors cut, kinda how the Snyder cut really fixed the Justice League.
@Doctah Wahwee I mean.. sure.. if breaking earlier/old lore is your thing.. Nothing can be said to be universally hated in this universe... The closest thing in star wars to being "universally hated" is the sequels.. You're entitled to your opinion but so are all the people who hated that particular part of the disneyverse... And if you've enjoyed "everything" then your most probably just a fanboy with the mindset: consume everything. Not to say that you have bad taste, but there's no way everything has been good since Disney acquired it. There's no franchise where everything has been good. Not even some of the all time greats like LOTR has been good in every sliver of content.
@Doctah Wahwee - The sequel trilogy, at best, had some good moments, but the story turned out to be a mess. JJ took it in one direction, then RJ "subverted" it in another (as if SW = GoT), and JJ turned the third into a dick measuring contest. Look, it's not like those of us who didn't enjoy the sequel trilogy always wanted it like this. Virtually all of us were hoping for the best -- we wanted to love it. And if you truly did, then that's great -- more to ya. I kind of envy you, because I adore Star Wars, but I digress.
That’s the problem relying on outside influence like star wars to provide happinness and just forget life’s problems. That’s very unhealthy and doesn’t solve anything. Fix those life challenges, stop caring so much, and get happinness from yourself, not from others or the outside, life is so simple, relaxing, and ejoyable, but society makes us think it’s not, minimalism is the savior of humanity…

Seeing Luke and Ashoka together meant so much to me because he’s the son of Skywalker and, in many ways, she is a daughter of Skywalker. And somewhere in my own head cannon, Leia meets Ashoka too. And the three children of Anakin Skywalker bond, share stories about their father and then each follow their own path. My heart is at peace right now.
I always thought it was more a brother and sister type of relationship between anakin and Ashoka. It’s like Ashoka is like a aunt to Luke in some way. But yes this was amazing 👏🏼💯
When Bane shot Vanth, he didn't just involve Freetown, he invited the entire 'Krayt Dragon Hunting Party' into the fight as well! Several Tusken tribes joined forces for that epic Hunt, and they remember full-well Freetown assistance. When they learn of the Pyke involvement in the recent massacre, there will be no stopping 'sand-power'. Everything that happens on Tattooine happens on sand, and every grain of that sand belongs to the Tuskens. 'Dune' vibes? Why not!?
It would be amazing to see the friendly neighbourhood tusken tribe, perhaps with a few survivors from Boba's tribe? It would tie it together nicely - it all started with a tusken tribe getting slaughtered and it gets resolved with the help of another.
I think this was my favorite reaction to this episode. Something so wholesome about seeing two grown men from two different generations getting so excited about new Star Wars content. I don't know how they're going to top this episode with the finale, or if that's even possible. This was such a wholesome episode that didn't waste a second of screentime. Truly "All killer, no filler" as Robert Rodriguez promised. It was everything and more. If the finale keeps up this trend in quality we're in for a real treat, even if we don't see Ahsoka, Luke, or Grogu or other big cameos in the finale. My assumption is that they'll leave that as a cliffhanger for Mando Season 3, but I sure didn't expect what we got in this episode...so who knows. Grogu might make his choice next week. Whatever he chooses is going to be a heart breaker because both Luke and Din are amazing characters and either path would be so cool to see. I'm just hoping for some epic showdown madness and Din and Boba wrecking the Pykes.

The love of you guys as father and son; the Mandalorian’s love for Grogu; Luke’s love for his father is beautiful! I can imagine Asoka talking to Luke about his parents and fill in some necessary gaps as well Luke being able to tell Asoka about how Anakin finally saved the day and chose to save Luke from the Emperor. Anakin chose family over power finally in the end just as Grogu made his choice at the end of the season.

Sonny, you and your father's reaction to this episode is absolutely fantastic. I felt the exact same roller coaster ride of emotions that the both of you experienced. It's a great time to be Science fiction fans!
Haha, loved the emotions in this one. This was such a great reaction, Sonny. It was the season 2 Mandalorian reaction that brought me to your channel and I stuck around because I loved seeing someone with such love and passion for what they react to (in this case, Star Wars). Never thought I'd see you visually affected/moved as much as you were during that season 2 finale, but it looks like this episode came close! You and your dad are lots of fun to watch and it's great to see two family members from separate generations sharing a deep love for something such as Star Wars. Here's hoping that next week's finale is a banger and that you guys love it as well! (but of course you will, you guys are legit super fans)
the moment i saw ahsoka i almost turned my phone off bc my heart was beating too fast… her and luke were the two characters that i always wanted to meet. this episode was a dream come true for me 😭
I have just watched last week reaction, so before I go further is this one, I want to send my condolences to your family. Your reactions bring heartwarming feeling to those of us who watch it, so I hope to give a tiny bit back to you. It is never easy to deal with any loss, so I just wish good things to you. Thank you both (and Kat as well). Cheers from Brasil
when dad talked about feeling young seeing young luke it made me cry for some reason! i can only imagine how special seeing this luke would be to those who had watched the OG star wars back then! if seeing jedi master luke brought me, a casual fan, to tears, then what must it be like for them! but also, as much as this episode has made me feel extremely joyful, it’s also made me feel really nervous. the attachment thing of the old code we all know has to be revamped. and it doesn’t really make sense that luke ‘i love my father’ skywalker would make a big deal of it! if the writers make luke forget that i’m gonna be really disappointed. so i’m really hoping it’s a misdirect and that luke will still give grogu the lightsaber (cause i’m pretty sure grogu will choose mando!) and maybe at least teach him how to wield it before letting him go. imagine if luke tags along with grogu and mando thooo!! or if luke teaches them both?!?! definitely not gonna happen but just imagine!
Such priceless reactions from both 😍 Yes we needed this episode so much,it’s the magic of Star Wars and we all feel the Force 🥰 I love CB so much ❤️Corey’s voice is unique
I have been SO looking forward to you and your father's reaction to this episode! Amazing as always :D I did want to give my condolences to the loss of your grandfather/father. So glad this episode was an uplift for both of you. God bless.

Love seeing you guys react to this together, you can feel the love you guys have for this world
19:53 this dude is an expert at spotting blue. He spotted the blue in R2 as Luke's X-wing flew by in the last ep of Mando season 2 xD
Freaking INCREDIBLE episode, the effects were top notch, I was so immersed. What a freaking Star Wars world we are experiencing right now!!
I’m sorry for your loss, really appreciate you guys another amazing reaction!
Best Star Wars I've seen since Ahsoka's "The Wrong Jedi" arc. Really loved seeing your reactions.
the moment i saw ahsoka i almost turned my phone off bc my heart was beating too fast… her and luke were the two characters that i always wanted to meet. this episode was a dream come true for me 😭
I love seeing the reactions of this episode due to Luke and the reactions along memories it has brought in OG Star Wars fans.
Deepest condolences to you both 🙏
I love how much you love this episode!
i love the Jawa's who have pimped their Sand Crawler out with the Krayt Dragon skull, that's just the most Jawaish thing ever!
You have the coolest Dad in the world!!
The two of you are so awesome to watch! Thank you!
Such priceless reactions from both 😍
Yes we needed this episode so much,it’s the magic of Star Wars and we all feel the Force 🥰
I love CB so much ❤️Corey’s voice is unique
9:44 They actually have a different guy as the Luke double now. It's in the credits.
"Boba Fett is a cold-blooded killer who worked for the Empire" says the guy that kidnapped children for Palpatine.
Lol
Been waiting for this reaction!
I have been SO looking forward to you and your father's reaction to this episode! Amazing as always :D I did want to give my condolences to the loss of your grandfather/father. So glad this episode was an uplift for both of you. God bless.
This was like a roller coaster of emotions. It started off fast with Cobb Vanth and never let up. I really hope Grogu choose to be a Jedi then comes and help Mando retake mandalore.
Epic reaction! I had more to say, but I'll just leave it at that.
