Thanks for the breakdown. I dig the new look and layout of the USVX!
Probably the most informative video on the channel. Nice job Nina!
Outstanding content. Exactly what I needed to make a decision/order within a couple hours of discovering the brand/company. A++
We bought 2 of these, a 32 & 20. Works great & does a super job, so easy to dial in the compactness, but a very long vac time compared to FoodSaver type models. Well worth it though for the huge added versatility.
great comparison video!
I live in England and I have a re-badged version of the USV32 - they are quite rare on this side of the pond, especially as we have a different voltage. It's an awesome machine and I love it. My advice would be to buy the largest that will fit in your kitchen - they are heavy, so you WILL end up leaving it out on the counter instead of putting it away after use. These machines used to cost a fortune a decade ago (there were no domestic machines, only used commercial machines). It is great that the price has fallen over the years AND that they don't look so 'commercial'.
I personally prefer the analog gauge because you can see exactly what is going on.
I ordered a USVX today!
Excellent information on these 3. I have the USV 20 but am interested in either the X model or USV 32
Did you end up ordering a larger one? Did you find that the USV20 was too small?
very good information
The USV32 comes with the access hose for external use, all you do is take off the sealer bar remove the cap insert the base adapter along with the hose and hit auto seal.
Do you need oxygen absorbers for freeze dried food?
I was hoping you'd also include how deep the USVX is compared to the others. Thanks.
The USVX is about 3.5 inches deep. You can see more specifications here: avidarmor.com/blog/side-by-side-comparison-of-the-avid-armor-ultra-series-chamber-vacuum-sealers/
@@Avidarmor So it's only 1/2" deeper than my 20. Thank you very much!
usv32 has accessory port under the seal bar
Hi, can I buy them in Germany?
Please ad metric units. But very god info.
My decision would be mainly price.
What is the duty cycle on the usv20?
In the manual for all three of these they say they can be run continuously but that they recommend 1 min cool down between operation.
@@MidnightHozz thank you!
Can you seal a whole chicken in one of these, and if so which one?
Yes, you can. You should definitely be able to in the USV32, and possibly in the USVX depending on size of the bird.
I regret preordering the usx20, I should have gotten the usc32
Hello. If your order has not been fulfilled yet, we can cancel your order and switch you to the USV32. Let us know.
It's no better! E1 error code after just 4 uses!
@@Avidarmor We bought that one. Used 4 times and it failed on US! Y'all need to fix this issue before selling anymore! That's 700.00!
@@iloveschicken6527 We are very sorry to hear that you had an issue with your USV32! About 98% of the time we see an E1 error code being reported, it's due to operator error or a defective gasket, which is a simple resolution to the issue. In your case, it was after the 30 day return window and your machine was under warranty, which we offered to repair under our warranty policy. Our offer was refused and full refund was demanded. As a courtesy, we went above and beyond and issued a full refund although it is against our standard policy. We apologize if you feel our service and product was unsatisfactory. We do stand behind our products and take pride in providing exceptional customer service.
@@Avidarmor You did just make it right and I thank you for that! Great customer service! I will be buying again at a later time! God bless all!
We used ours 4 times and got an E1 error code! Couldn't get it to work! Seeing many many folks with the same issue! Just sent ours back! Very disappointing!

I’m pretty put off by the admins aggressive gas lighting approach to that poor person who’s machine broke just after 30 days. Clearly even though outside of warranty it was a defective machine. Why wasn’t this just a quiet polite refund, this poor person probably didn’t just say no to the refund I suspect something else went on here behind the scenes. I suspect you made them pay an exorbitant return fee or something along these lines - I can’t stand customer service that is aggressive, gas lights or is presumptuous that most errors are user errors - yuck I’m so unimpressed with the vibes here that I’m absolutely not interested in this product any longer. I was just about to buy one. Seriously, if the machine is defective just quietly make it right and rely on word of mouth to boast your customer service - don’t treat this poor person poorly and then pat yourself on the back for finally offering a resolution after the person is clearly already exhausted with you.
You can't expect this stuff to last forever but using 4 times and it only having a 30 day warranty is ridiculous if I spent that kind of money on something that isn't commercial use I would expect a minimum 2 year warranty
98 percent of the time the error code is reported? Why is it not fixed? Wow. Had I known.
I watched your vids, I watched the reviews from the people you gave 1 too, I wasn't impressed. So, I went with a JVR100 chamber vacuum sealer
I just hate that stupid heated polyfluo PFAS crap strip on all these machines.
BTW: that top camera's frame rate was very strange.
I'm underwhelmed by this product. I purchased it during your Black Friday sale last year and finally used it. FREEZER burn on everything I've sealed.
Hello, we are very sorry to hear that! This is a comparison video of multiple units, which unit specifically are you speaking of? We'd be more than happy to help troubleshoot with you on this. For further assistance, please email info@avidarmor.com. Thanks!
Hey Avid Armour can I sell my ultra 32 back to ya .
Exactly! We just sent ours back!
What problem(s) did you have?
@@jonathonfoley4312 the machine itself worked awesome. I was hoping to save money buying bulk but the last few years food has skyrocked. Hamburger beef used to be $1.99 lb and it went up to $4.99 lb . I couldnt afford to buy anything to get ahead at that price.
@@mib20000 oh I see. I feel ya there. Prices have gone up and/or quality/quantity has gone down.
Would you buy from Avid Armor again? If the market was different
@@jonathonfoley4312 ya it sealed very well and tight. This machine is perfect for the casual user not the guy who just went hunting and took home 2 deer to cut up and seal. meaning it needs to cool. if you want a more commercial unit go with Vac Master oiled unit. but they are around 1000 + .
