The government was searching for a town so useless, that the politicians decided to test an atom bomb in the town square unless they could find something so wonderful, that they would go somewhere else to blow up. They found Stupefying Jones, who was so hot that she could stop men dead in their tracks, then they discover that Mammy Yokum's Yokumberry Tonic, which Li'l Abner had been taking for all his life, which will turn skinny bums into muscle bound sex objects. Which it does - but all the girls discover that even though the scrawny boys are now dead sexy - they're useless in bed. So they want them back the way they were. Al Capp, famous comic book writer was a satirist, and in this show adds song and dance to the mix. The show was sensational and very very funny!!
I like that these dances all have meaning - they are all dancing to tell a story, and they do it OH SO WELL!!
