Wow, thanks for this. I have a hole rusted thru and my cooling water is spraying into the hull. How much was a new manifold?
For the manifold it was about 550. but you need the gaskets, and i replaced the exhaust pipe as well. so overall cost me like $1000 just in parts
@@CollinsChannel97 Thanks for showing me that is is possible without pulling the whole engine. I will need to repalce the exhaust pipe too. Thanks. With this and my $800 fuel pump, I'm not too happy with this ski compared to me previous Honda ski.
@@blaster-zy7xx Yeah Kawasaki's tend to not be great about the manifolds, I was told that of course after my purchase. I did put it all back together, but I didn't make a video for it. Was definitely easier to install then to remove, and putting the hoses back on was easier then getting them off. The hardest part is physically getting the manifold away from the engine block. Prying it away to get it off, and manhandling it to get it back on. But test ran it in the water and runs like a charm!

12F is a lot tighter than a 15F.
The picture at the end of your video looked like it was of the engine not the manifold, also just be use I am looking to do the same thing. The manifold didn't look to bad all things considered what made it tost?
I talked to my jetski guy, he said my manifold was the worst one he ever saw. Also yes, you NEED to clean up the engine side as well, clearing ALL the calcium buildup because the gasket only allows a small hole for the water to pass. Therefore clearing the lining on the engine allows more water flow. Ive put on a new manifold and it ran great! Didn't overheat like the issue I had before!
Did you put the rings back on the manifolds where it slides into the water box ?
Yes I did, used blue painters tape, it'll burn off from the heat. Much easier than using no tape to keep in place
