The Mi Fitness app (as of version 3.35.3) STILL does not automatically sync data with the smart band (any model). You have to manually open the app on your phone everytime for the data to sync.
I don't understand what's the problem. It's better for the battery life and you will see the data from your band on your app only if you open it which automatically syncs with the band.
I haven't upgraded my fitness tracker since the Mi Band 4. The 9 Pro seems like a good option, especially with its NFC and payment features. I'm curious if it's possible to use Google Pay with this band.

I think the only difference is the screen size and the strap. I have used the watch 5 lite. It has exactly the same features mentioned in the above video
Broadcast hr feature available yet? The only reason i stay with huawei product is because of that feature, so i can broadcast my hr while bicycling to the bike computer
The pro has an integrated GPS. So you have a better track of the distance and you can see the running path. However you can achieve the same accuracy level with the band 9 if you run with your smartphone connected to it.
The 9 Pro looks beautiful, sharing same price with Galaxy Fit 3 the Mi Band 9 pro has GPS & looks better. Value for money!
Galaxy fit 3 is dirt cheap, it's 25$ this is 70$

Does this occur even on later Mi Bands? I have a Mi Band 6 and I thought because I have an older model that it has trouble syncing.

You need to activate the use of the app in 2nd plane

I'm quite sure that this is NOT possible. Global version is even lacking nfc at all
better not to have that option, robber nowday can use nfc to ppay anything

You can install apps through Mi Fitness on the Chinese version, idk why they didn't add this feature for Global.

I think the price says it all, the band 9 pro is much better but between the band 9 pro and Redmi 5 Lite there are not so many differences

I wish they release new lug adapter to match the new case finishes, the previous one (shiny/polished) just look out of place on the 9 pro.
