Both speakers were on their stock or flat EQ settings.The X20 was 5 - 6 decibels louder on the decibel meter & the X20 sounded much cleaner with better stereo separation. Maybe Soundcore should come out with a firmware update that’ll make the treble brighter with a little more detail.

Not only was the X20 considerably louder, but it also sounded much cleaner with better stereo separation. You won’t find a better speaker at $224.99 or less.😅
I have X20 and Tribit stormblast and I compare it myself and not much of a difference with the quality tbh. I love both of them. I also have the Tronsmart bang max and that thing has a nice bass.
I played this video on my sonos play 5 gen 2 and feel the soundcore has slightly better clarity but not as much boom as the w-king x-20 and the w-king x-20 sounded louder.

The Tribit is better for indoors due to the sound signature of the speaker. The X20 is definitely designed for outdoor use because it gets extremely loud without losing sound quality. Which is what you need in a good outdoor speaker.
¿Cómo es posible que el soundcore suene como si estuvieran sus altavoces obturados?. Suena como si estuviera metido en una caja, como si algo impidiese salir bien el sonido. No lo escucho limpio. ¿Enserio suena así?. Tengo el BOOM 2 y suena muy bien el altavoz pero me quedo aparentemente decepcionado con el BOOM 2 PLUS. Evidentemente el X20 es más potente y tiene 5 altavoces dedicados pero el sonido del video en mi opinión escucho demasiada diferencia. Parece que el BOOM 2 PLUS es solamente un subwoofer y ya está. No sé, es extraño. No lo entiendo.
Yes it sounds really bad, boom 2 sounds better, much cleaner sound. This is a big fail on this boom 2 plus, i think new software update in the future maybe fix this bad sounding issue. Going to make a new video today vs Boom 2 and will see how it can compete. Even my motion 300 sounds better to be honest

@@OskiitarGyM to me it is the worst sounding Soundcore speaker from all the soundcore lineup. It just sounds cheap, bass not deep enough. Maybe i have a faulty unit i don’t know what else i can say. I just hate how it sounds and returning it soon. EQ helped a little bit but the video already made with adjusted EQ. I would stay away from this speaker if you like a quality sound! Original boom plus also sounds a lot better
The W-KING is a beast at louder volumes with really good sound quality when used outdoors. I know, I own one.
this soundcore isnt eq properly for sure will be closer like alan ross only 2dbc difference between soundcore and waking

I’ve been telling people that the W-KING is the louder, better sounding option at $224.99 which it retails for right now on Amazon.
Much deeper bass and way louder

I have heard both, the X20 has deeper bass and goes a little louder. But for the price the Stormbox blast is the better value.
