This just popped up on my feed. It explains everything in layman terms so well. I contracted Covid end of November 2021, after one week I was hospitalized, then admitted to the hospital's ICU and discharged 18th December 2021. Luckily I survived but my Long Covid symptoms are breaking me physically and mentally. One day I hope this nightmare will disappear from my life.

Tulsi milkthistle quercitin d c zink copper curcuma tea is helping me. Also fasted. Now omad and low histamine. No sugar and processed food.
The anxiety and depression went away after two days.
Now 2.5 months in. Still feeling good. Sleep deep and good also. Lost the weird weight i got eventhough i could not eat anymore.
      6 kilos are gone allready.
The muscles are still very painfull at times That part i have fysio for. And i have noticed that it worsen when i had to many visitors.
      Overloads my system.
The weird hearing sometimes low sometimes very hard and bad vision are still bad. Brainfog is 80% better as long as there is not to much people input.
Smell and taste goes up and down.
Started aromatherapy for that. And pure rose and helychisumoil in a diffuser also works to calm the nervous system, sleep etc so it is a win win. 😊

I have long covid for the second time (had it back in 2020 as well.) The good news is it went away after a while back then. I also found it got worse after I ate simple carbs - maybe because these foods cause inflammation. Also, anxiety a major symptom not addressed in the video. NSAIDs help with symptoms, but don’t overdo it.

So I've had all of those symptoms since I had my second Pfizer vacc in 2021, and the only thing that's gotten better is the palpitations. Slightly. I did not make a fuss about it being vacc related because i was hoping for medical help (unfortunately medical professionals are tempted to write you off as mentally ill if you imply vaccine injury), irregardless none of these symptoms seem to worry my doctor. Its nice to see at least this.
The symptoms suck, im half the person i was before them, but my biggest worry is what kind of damage is being done? I do know i now have multiple nodules in my lungs, nothing big enough to cause the chest pressure and sob ive been feeling for 2.5 years ...

Hello and thank you for your message. Long COVID symptoms can present as continued from acute COVID-19 infection, or develop as new symptoms after the acute episode. Long COVID has been characterised as multi-dimensional, episodic and unpredictable in nature. The World Health Organization definition of Long COVID (termed Post COVID-19 Condition) includes the fluctuating pattern of Long COVID. The symptoms you describe could be consistent with Long COVID, so it might be worth checking with a healthcare professional to rule out any other causes. You can find out more about Long COVID on our website: longcovid.physio/longcovid

I have found the Turnto app really helpful in sourcing new treatments to try. It’s packed with user reviews as well as expert opinion and the latest research. There’s a great sense of community and it’s worth checking out if you need any advice/support!

For those posting here about your struggles with long covid we are going to assume that you were fully vax'd and boosted, unless you indicate otherwise.

Nearly 4 months, lost appetite for meals and snacks. Fried chicken, grand meal, MRE bar, they all taste the same. Lost interest/motivation/desire for chocolate, yogurt, ice cream, durian... I eat flavorless MRE bar to skip meals constantly, they all taste the same, why bother.

Maybe try olfactory retraining? It involves “smelling” certain odors over and over again to retrain your brain to smell properly. Lemon, sage, rose and eucalyptus are all used-get essential oils and smell them daily and over time hopefully your senses will return. Your smelling ability is directly related to your taste ability. Best wishes…
