My 4-year-old started tap classes last year and wanted me to dance with her. So I bought a pair of shoes and started teaching myself. The very first tap dance she saw, was a video of cups. Thank you for this tutorial because this song is special. Super big thank you for your playlist. It's been mighty helpful, your videos have been the best virtual teachers. Because I'm learning and getting better I'm able to help her learn and get better and the best thing is we have so much fun. You can tell how much you love tap. Both as a dancer and a teacher. I just found your channel as I decided I wanted to get into tap dancing for a work out. I tapped for 9 years when I was a kid, but it’s been 13 years since then. I was super excited to see that you’ve posted so many combinations to great songs, and at different levels - it’s exactly what I needed. Yesterday I did one of your beginner/intermediate tutorials, which was great to bring me back into things, and today I decided to go a bit harder. This straight intermediate (even though the term is broad) was absolutely perfect for me! It was just the right amount of challenge, reminding me which time step is which and being pretty speedy, while still being do-able 😊 thanks for this, and I hope you can continue to do more around this level!
I plan to make one Intermediate level per month (in addition to the Int/Adv and Beg/Int levels) and all of my combinations have options to make them all-level friends as best as I can. :) I'm so glad you found my tutorials and you're part of the tap fam! :)

Facing away allows us to be on the same foot and not have to adjust for mirroring :)
