Getting my Power Commander installed: ua-cam.com/video/O2GwDw-0kPM/v-deo.html
Odd to see an entire highway run in 2nd and 3rd gear only. Looks peppy but hearing that rev limiter so many times hurt my soul.
2nd & 3rd is already a good 100 mph with room to get in trouble. Any higher isn’t necessary, especially when 2nd & 3rd get the point across as is.
he either likes to hoon it in 2nd and 3rd or doesnt know how to use a bike lol
Clearly not dude will have it blown up in 6-9 days of that abuse
It's his bike but man do you ride like this always? I like to ring my cb6 but I change gears right before it redlines and I reach 6th to cruise a bit. You're killing your bike bro. 🤦♂️
….thanks?
Y’all worry WAY too much about how other ppl ride THEIR bikes/live their lives. Fall back a bit
Awesome video and I love seeing you having fun. Thanks for talking through what the tune did. Just be careful about posting evidence for law-enforcement online like this hahah
Damn those little Honda 4s have such an angry pretty song.
The bike has so much more to give but the gears don’t. You need to change quicker.
There's a dip in power around 5000 to 6000 rpm after you put a full system after the 6000 rpm it goes back to normal. I installed an Akra no DB and I'm feeling it. Today I just installed the K&N air filter to give it "more" air intake to see if it gets better. I couldn't ride it tomorrow I will do the test... If it doesn't work I will put the DB killer back and test and lastly if that doesn't work I will have to flash the ECU. Not for HP but to erase the power dip. It's common on this bike though.
I just bought a 2022 brand new but its' 3 hours drive away. Theyre going to install the derestriction kit and then I'll pick it up in a week. Can't wait. Will be a big improvement from the Duke 390 haha.
Thanks for sharing great content. Keep creating and inspiring ride safe. See you in your next video 📹 look forward to seeing what you are riding now? 🏍
You need to install the quickshiter! Bump it up a notch more!
All good, but why do you ride in 1st gear? The momentum is so much stronger in the 2nd plus 🙂The 1st is just to get going.
11:52... well, that didn't age well 😬
I bought a used CBR1000RR from a dealer recently and they claim the previous owner had it Dynotuned. I want to take it have have it done cause I have a feeling they was lying. LOL! Pricey though. Thanks for the video!
Ahh that’s a tough spot to be in! They could definitely just be saying that to get the sale. Maybe bring it to the shop you were looking at and see if they can tell
@@Mr300OG good idea. I'll give that a try. It does have a BAZZAZ tuner on it with the traction control or MAP switch and adjuster along with the quick shifter. Haven't played with that at all.
11:47 Had to click your channel and see about that lol. Annnnnnnnnnd latest video says otherwise D:
I have the same bike, how much did they change you just for the dyno tune?
Should have added air filter and quick shifter would have definitely been better results 90hp
Uh. Sorry to break it to you but a quick shifter does not actually do anything at all for direct engine specs. Wouldn’t gain any horsepower or torque..
@@jared123123 Your correct , but makes a difference in shifting timing and that will result in different results especially if someone is tunning that is why people recommend a tune when adding a shifter etc
Just put on the Akro last week and probably the power commander soon but, is it necessary to dyno it? Do they just test and configure the gears?
It’s not necessary to dyno but I personally feel like if you’re going to go the route of the power commander, why not take it a step further? You’re bike will feel completely brand new
@@Mr300OG but my question is what do they do at the dyno? Just test run the commander?
They go through each gear tuning it. Make sure it’s running at optimal air to fuel ratio. Not sure of the details of HOW it’s done (and i honestly care as long as the job gets done) but you can search that info up on UA-cam and I’m sure your question will be answered accurately.
@@Mr300OG thanks for the response bro. Definitely gonna be on my list of things to get done 👍🏼
Enjoy it!
