Usually I don't like non bulgarian choirs singing bulgarian songs and that is a perfect example of that.
Typical russian mistake of not pronouncing Щ as ŠT here.

The song is traditional/folk. Peter Lyondev (1936-2018) wrote it down, arranged it, collected it, but he is not the author/composer. Our grandmothers used to sing this song long before Lyondev was born.
@@skladzasnimki6th818 I meant that the whole harmony is not "narodne". Only the part sung by the "mezzo soprano" is traditional.
@@skladzasnimki6th818 actually Lyondev used several folk songs in this composition but it's largely an authored piece, not an adaptation of a folk song. Even the lyrics are 'new'.
