"Boston is letting them have their moment" is one of the worst comments I've ever heard following a cup loss. They seem to forget the rest of the world doesnt revolve around the city of boston. You didn't let anybody have a moment you lost a best of 7 series to a fantastic hockey team that year.
The commentators forgetting how gracious and congratulatory STL Cardinals fans were in 2004 when the Red Sox broke their 86 year curse and won the World Series at Busch Stadium. As hard as it was for the STL fans to see their team lose, they appreciated the historical moment for what it was. Seeing the Blues celebrate their 1st ever Stanley Cup on Boston ice was payback!
Late reply...but as a blues fan not sure I see the problem with their comments. The let the Blues fans enjoy just like the Cards fans let the Red Sox fans enjoy.
@@pbhoulden8212St Louis even let Boston fans (without tickets) hanging outside Busch Stadium to enter the stadium and to celebrate with the ticketed Boston fans.
"St. Louis has suffered a lot at the hands of Boston teams". To be a little more factual, only one Boston team has more championships between the 2 cities - the Boston Celtics. Otherwise Baseball is 2 and 2, and Hockey is 1 and 1. Now there once was a team called the Boston Patriots but they no longer exist. That team was re-branded the "New England" Patriots in 1970 when ownership moved to Foxborough, Massachusetts. You'll have to ask ownership why they didn't want to attach the "Boston" name to the team.
@@Jiannuccilli My point is that ownership could have left the Boston name on the team even though they moved to Foxbourough. The New York Giants and Jets are in New Jersey but ownership wanted the identity to remain "New York".
Has there been any comment on this post but yours in the last five months? Not sure where the crying is coming from. You do know this was recorded on the night of Game 7, right? Not like we went out there last week and recreated everything.
It’s a new season now-The Blues dropped “Gloria” from their post home game victory routine and the Bruins are in 1st place in the league as of this post! We’ll see what the Real Season-the playoffs will bring next season! Anything can happen-many thought that the Jets and Bolts would be the Cup finalists a year ago-no one said anything about the Bruins-CERTAINLY not the Blues! May the best team win!!!
Listen up Y’all-it’s crunch time! Boston’s got Tampa just behind em and STL’s had a losing streak but now they’re trying to make a stretch run! Just gettin’started!!!
FuckingHateTwilight he’s right Belichick has played in a much harder age then Lombardi and he doesn’t have the same players like Lombardi did. Lombardi has the name of the trophy but Belichick has the name of the greatest nfl coach ever because of the completion he had.
Steven Stocker also he is counting 2 titles in one year which nobody does. The sb back then in the first 2 years was a gimmie because of how easy the competition was. The chiefs and raiders were good but they weren’t even close to the nfl.
FuckingHateTwilight ok first not a pats fan. I hate the pats they have beat the rams twice in the sb. They are my favorite team btw. No way 1% thinks they are better. The entire nfl today has accepted that Belichick is the best coach ever. The ones that aren’t are packers fans like you. Max kellerman said Belichick was the greatest coach in the nfl and he’s from New York. The 90’s bulls are better because they actually played more then one team. Look at all the games Belichick has to play year after year and yet they win every year. Lombardi in packers eyes is better but not to the rest of the nfl. U bring up win percentage yet he only coached for like 10 years in a league with 14 teams. Of course it’s gonna be good while Belichick has never had a losing season since 2000. That’s almost 20 years ago. Did Lombardi ever do that.
FuckingHateTwilight all u bring up I’ve seen is win percentage. Belichick has way more playoff wins then Lombardi. I guess if u wanna use win percentage then I guess mike vrabel is a better coach then Andy Reid??????????? Simple logic
Alot of critcism of this broadcast from Blyes fans which I disagree with except tjat Marchand quote. Only Marchand could make the whole cup endeavour sound so selfish and childish. "They took our dream away" What a sportsman.
Binnington outplayed Rask
Dan Lon no rask played way better than binnington throughout the series

It’s because they technically don’t play in Boston. They play in foxboro.

FuckingHateTwilight same with Phoenix coyotes to Arizona coyotes
well lately, we have suffered alot. Three losses in 20 years, which is why winning this one felt so great.
The Celtics were also even the team who St. Louis’s only NBA team ever played, to win the city’s only current NBA championship😅
Boo Hoo Brucie.....you got outplayed, out scored, and I cannot stress this enough...OUT CLASSED!!
