The idea of this drink is inspired from the famous Spanish "Café Bombón".
.
It is basically adding some sweetened condensed milk to the milk before steaming it.
.
The milk texture will be creamy and the overall taste of the drink is extremly enjoyable 👌

As for the amount of the condensed milk, it is totally up to your personal preference. However, we do recommend to be generous while adding the condensed milk in order to get the full experience 💯

Kindly note, we are well aware that this drink is not famous in Spain. However, it is well known in multiple countries especially in the Middle East and it is being served in Coffee Shops as "Spanish Latte"

@@jayp7552 On reviewing the video it seems that the milk used was a mix of sweetend condensed milk and 'normal' milk - not my idea of "clean and pure". I personally prefer regular whole milk.

You guys call it Cafe con leche, in england and america we call them lattes, in italy its a café latté

There’s no condensed milk in a café con leche, just coffee, milk, and your average sweetener either sugar or saccharin. The closest I can think of is café bombón, but 1) it’s just coffee and condensed milk, 2) it’s not that common to ask for it.

This coffee would be what is known in the Canary Islands as a café leche y leche, a mixture of leche condesa and whole milk. On the peninsula we normally drink latte only with whole milk, skim milk or if you are allergic to lactose with another type of milk such as soy milk or almond milk. In the Spanish Levante, that is, Valencia, Castellón, Alicante and some areas of Catalonia, there is a variety of latte known as cafe bombon, which is similar to a latte, only it is prepared only with condensed milk. To do this, fill the cup with approximately one finger's worth of condensed milk and then prepare an espresso coffee on top of that cup. This coffee is an especially sweet coffee so it is no longer necessary to add sugar.

Living in a non-hispanic country I have so far only found 'Vietnamese coffee' offered at one place. I'm afraid it used at least two fingers worth of condensed milk so was excessively sweet. They probably had little call for it and wanted to use up more of the tin of condensed milk they had to open!

Cheap and sweet tip for those who don’t have a latte machine, you can add 2 (or more if you like really sweet) tablespoons of any condensed milk to a brewed coffee and it will be great. No additional milk or sugar needed plus you kind of save money because a can can last you several coffees.

One day I made her wait with me at the spanish bakery for get the coffee. I have been drinking coffee daily for 16 years and I have lived in Spain my whole life. This is the first time I hear ‘Spanish latte’. We don’t drink ‘Spanish lattes’, we drink just lattes, coffee, milk and sweetener if you like it. The only way I can think of a coffee with condensed milk is café bombón, but that doesn’t have regular milk, just the espresso and the condensed milk. So yeah, this sounds to me like the paella with chorizo…😅

So they aren’t saying this drink is a “traditional Spanish latte”, rather a drink inspired by drink found in Spain
In Canaries (still Spain) they call it cafe leche con leche but it never was done so perfectly 🥰. In fact they kill coffee by not knowing how to make the one but condensed milk nicely conceal this imperfection. But this one is another level of perfection 😍

@@mooglily café bombón isn’t even common in the whole country. It is usually common in the Canary islands but if you go to Madrid and ask for a ‘café bombón’ in a regular café they probably won’t know what you’re talking about.
