I call the rat 'Tater TORT', tort means 'cake' in my native language. As an option it could be Tater Tart for english-speraking people :) I think it suits to that adorable chonk.

I've had side-to-side doubles before a triple cause someday I hope to have my whole wall of triples connected but that's so much work to take them apart take the sides out and connect them your cages are fabulous

I’ve had rats for over 8 years and rodents for over 15 years - 1 of these units I got free with some rats that I adopted, 2 units I got for cheap from a breeder who stopped breeding rats, and the third I got on sale off amazon several years back. Its still costly but getting cages used and building over time helps to dilute that a good bit.

Spot cleaning takes about 10 minutes weekly, and the monthly clean takes between 2.5-4 hours depending on how much I change up the setup and if I’m doing a theme.
@@ShadowTheRat my problem is that when I spot clean, I get obsessed and it turns into a full blown cleaning! I use many if your awesome ideas for rat toys and rat fun - I appreciate the time you take to help all of us rat lovers!
