    I'm looking forward to your next video! I have a 20-year-old Kitchen Aid, and it's time to upgrade soon. I make my bread in my Zojorushi bread maker and every time I have tried to use my Kitchen Aid, it is very dense. I appreciated that you showed the two loaves side by side from the Kitchen Aid and the Bosch. Thank you!

      Thanks so much for commenting. My first mixer was the smaller kitchen aid, then professional size because I made cakes for a restaurant. Then my husband bought me the Bosch and that changed everything. 😊

    Thank you for all your informative videos. I especially enjoy the ones using fresh milled flour. I have been milling for a few years now and I love to see new recipes and the nutritional benefits of fresh milled flour.

    I have been enjoying my Nutrimill since I did your class. I definitely would like to get the mixer now especially seeing you side by side with the Kitchen Aid. Thinking my husband needs to get me that for Christmas!

    Thank you so much for the information and the discounts. My wife and I really enjoy your channel. She makes bread (loafs and rolls) in a bread machine with purchased organic wheat flour. After learning of the nutritional deficiencies of already-milled flour through your videos, Sue Beckers', and Grains and Grit, we are on the 'mill our own flour' train! Whoo-hoo!! We pretty much have decided that we will purchase a mill before the end of the year so we can start the year off better. We do have the KitchenAid 7 Quart Bowl-lift mixer and have learned that, although powerful, their mixers have declined in power and quality over the years. Plus, if not run at least weekly, the motors can seize up (so we've heard). In watching the comparison that you presented, we are sold on not using our KitchenAid for mixing the flour. Since there are only two of us, the Artiste would be a perfect choice for our needs, as well as the Classic Grain Mill. Oh, and we do have a source we live that sells organic hard wheat berries. Keep up the terrific work.

      Ah, thank you so much for your kind words. My journey sounds similar to yours. I started with buying fresh milled flour and then got a mill. I used my Kitchen Aid (just like yours) for a few years before discovering the Bosch. You can’t go wrong with the Bosch or the Artist, both are great. You will love having a mill of your own. 😊

    Best deal I’ve seen!
    Just used your code for the nutriMill. I’ve had a kitchen Mill forever, got it as a wedding present. But the side is starting to crack. Perfect time to upgrade. Thank you!

      Which one are you leaning towards?

      @ Kimberly McIntyre I’m concerned about the plastic bowl leaching more plastic into food. But the stainless steel bowl can’t handle challah bread without switching it out. I’m not a bread baker now. Have you used the stainless steel version?

    i notice in the back of you, you have the harvest grain mill (wooden color) and the white classic grain mill. Which one do you like better and why?

    • @KimberlyMcIntyre
      @KimberlyMcIntyre  2 місяці тому +1

      That’s a good question. I was going to include the harvest in my review, but since it isn’t included in the black Friday special, it felt weird. I love both and for very different reasons. The classic is a work horse. It won’t overheat after grinding many cups of grain and you can load it before you start it and turn it off while grinding. It mills up to 20 cups at a time. The harvest is beautiful and convenient. It has to be allowed time to cool after milling several cups of flour. Not a big deal unless you are needing a lot of flour at one time. They both do a great job.

    There is only the two of us and I make a 1 1/2 lb loaf of bread a few times a week. Is that size too small for the Nutrimil Artiste?

    • @KimberlyMcIntyre
      @KimberlyMcIntyre  Місяць тому

      Is that one 1/2lb or 1 and 1/2 lb? Just wanted to make sure. If only 1/2lb, it might be difficult to get it to knead, but if it’s 1 1/2 lb it would work. I make several loaves and freeze. The beauty is that they taste just as good when thawed. 😊
