As the global packaging industry is developing and expanding day by day the Indian packaging industry is also growing at rapidly. This growth is primarily driven by factors like growing pharmaceutical, food processing, manufacturing industry, FMCG, healthcare sector and ancillary in the emerging economies. Under the packaging industry umbrella, majorly plastic packaging, paper packaging and flexible packaging reside. Sustainability is a fast gaining enjoyment among companies, with consumers increasingly looking to buy products that are ‘green’. The reason simply can be credited to the people who are now more aware of health and environmental issues pertaining to the indestructible monster called Plastic.

Excellent information, thank you! And VERY well presented! I'm curious, can you say again the example the gentleman uses at 8:14, what is he referring to being carried, that can't be carried in paper? And if has to be carried in a waterproof bag, maybe that can be longer lasting and sustainable, not single use throw-aways. The choice is not relegated to either petrochemical plastic or no bags to carry things. That would be a false equivalency.
