Your previous video explained that only the solenoid was bad. I’m guessing that since you had to take the starter out anyway it was just best to replace it with the upgraded starter? Great video BTW!
@@larryd.waddell269 Your correct. It’s not worth it cuz the main starter body will go as well unfortunately. Just replace the whole thing. I’m using the Mitsubishi branded starter and it kicks over real hard even at 11V 😃😃
I put the 18 socket close to the starter bolt with 1 hand then I reach around the other side with an extension at back of starter and push until it’s locked in. Afterwards I just turn both until it’s in the bolt. It may take a while and some swearing then you can ratchet it off. Hope that helps.
That’s ok. Make a video showing something informative cuz at the time there aren’t any videos explaining to do it. Would have loved to watch one so I knew how to.
Thank you so much yet another informative video. You are out here making the trucking community better for small owner ops
You’re welcome and as long as someone is benefiting, that alone makes my day. Thank you for watching and stay tuned!!!
Love to see owner operators work on their trucks.👍🏼
Thank you cuz I always need these types of acknowledgment. Thank you again 👍
Thank you for your detailed demonstration. It works flawlessly now.
I’m glad it helped

Car starters easy. Truck starters a bit more work lol
It is plus that 1 bolt in the back, you have to feel around to get the socket on 😭😭😭😭
@dentrizzle yeahhh I might let kw do that one if I ever need a starter lol
How did you get to the top bolt?
