You are beautiful in your own unique way just as God made you. There is no other you in this world and that's what makes each of us special. I wanted to thank you for your beautiful patterns you graciously shared with us. I think it takes great courage to share your story and it takes a lot of courage to not be afraid and shine like a true angel that you are. I've had my own share of trying to figure out who I was and how I fit in this world as the world can be unforgiving but like you, I have found others who have the same learning disabilities as me. I don't learn fast like most people do and I am a visual learner mostly because I have to see what I'm learning to understand what is being taught. You give hope and inspiration to those that don't know you and are scared to find there way but see that there is hope and a way for them to feel accepted. Crochet is something that for me personally helps my mind focus, and helps my anxiety. I can't watch tv or listen to someone talk without feeling like I need to be doing something at the same time. I feel like crochet is my therapy in a sense. It brings me joy to make things for others. In fact I have some things I want to make myself but I haven't because I enjoy making gifts and seeing the reaction once I give them away. I have now decided that I need a shawl for work and the one I had was getting bad because it was pure white so I am making this one you provided. Each time I wear it, I will think about you and the beautiful spirit you have shared with all of us. Thank you for being you, the world needs more of you and I in it that are real. ~Bethany
Great and easy pattern, I made two one with Scarfie yarn and I just finished another using ~4 skeins of Red Heart hygge yarn in the color sterling. This yarn does put more weight to the cardigan but it’s so soft, silky and warm. Great project for a lovey gift. Thanks for sharing!
Just found your channel and I am so excited to get making this and checking out your other patterns. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creations with everyone. I've been nervous to try scarfie yarn but after seeing this, I'm going to try. My husband and I are coming up on our 13th anniversary and I asked him to take me to get some of this beautiful yarn for my present 💝🎁👏👏👏🥰🥰. Thank you again.
I love this fast, easy vest pattern. I have the black scarfie yarn so that’s what I’m using. I have been wondering what to make out of it and now I know! So happy I saw your tutorial! Thanks! Susan
Hi Wilma, First of all, thank you for this lovely tutorial, I'm such a beginner to crochet, this was my first attempt trying anything other than a baby blanket and it was so easy to follow, thank goodness. Second, it took me about two seconds to wonder if you were from the Netherlands because you have the same accent as my mother and grandmother. I don't often get to talk to my grandmother and she was the one who first taught me how to crochet, so hearing this tutorial in your voice is such a pleasure for me. Heel erg bedankt!
Me encantan todos tus trabajos , yo aprendo de manera visual y la barrera del lenguaje no ha sido problema. Gracias por compartir tus conocimientos y creatividad. Saludos desde México
This is not crochet related but I love your nails. They’re so pretty. Simple yet elegant 🥰. On the crochet side of the video, I’ve made several of your patterns and haven’t had any problems following your written ones. Thanks so much for sharing with us

Hello Wilma thank you for this video you have a very pleasant voice which makes it easy to follow your tutorials I love your channel. I have made two of your Shaw's. Thank you very much and God bless 🙏
I went to Jo Anns when they had a great sale on Scarfie yarn... I went a TAD crazy and bought like the last 6 skeins of the cranberry/black color and have been looking for an easy pattern.. I'm going to add a hood somehow but this is a super easy and not complicated pattern to follow thank you!
Very pretty!!! I’m starting one tonight ………… same color as you …… for a gift for my niece. She will love it!!! Thank you so much…… and thanks for making it look easy!!💖💖💖

Hello Wilma, I love this vest . I'm trying to figure out how to make this pattern wider. The back is not wide enough once I went to connect the sides. The person I made it for is very top heavy so how can I make it wider without having to start all over again.
I just picked up 2 purple/black on clearance for holiday stock up today. Hoping this will be a nice addition to my Halloween items 😊 this is the first cardigan tutorial I've seen that was explained so concisely. Great video!

Hi Wilma, I love this vest. I WILL be making this but in another category 5 yarn as I don't have any of this scarify yarn in my stash. I am looking forward to making it. Thank you for a quick great video.
Thank You for such a Super Quick and Easy pattern to make for people!!! I love it and just sub'd cause your a very sweet teacher...and You keep it simple...much success for the future!!!
Love the pattern! Made two of them! I made then a little shorter and one of them 2 rows wider! Really nice design! I also made a short one using your other video!
Do you have a similar pattern for worsted weight yarn? Even when I go up in hook size my gauge isn’t working but I have lovely 4 weight yarn I wouldn’t mind using for something similar to this.
Hello, I have made this twice and had to take it apart because I don’t understand how to get them even. After making the 66 chains I keep crocheting until I have all 19 rows, but when I assemble it one side is longer. Help please!!!
I know exactly what you are saying. It really confused me once she did one side. 🤷♀️ are you supposed to do another side or keep working on the one side so that it always stays even. I don’t understand how everyone else on here isn’t confused.
Hello new subscriber! So I ended up with the same pattern that you did at the end the two larger sections with the middle but it’s small . Am I suppose to make another pattern of the same . I’m confused . Please assist . Thanks 😊
Just a note, while working on this , I realized how long it was on me...reviewing the pattern I saw the model is 5’6”...5” taller than me so I did a shorter chain (multiple of 3 + 4) MUCH better! I suppose I could have used a smaller hook but like the look of the larger one.
