I've always thought about painting, but kept putting it off. Your wizard OSL with this method actually made me finally get a kit and start.
Not sure if its unique to you but it really motivated me.
    Thanks!

First, welcome to the miniature painting hobby! I'm happy to hear that you found the motivation to get started. Let us know how it goes painting that first mini.
I'd never claim that anything I present in my videos is "unique to me". I pick up new tips and tricks, and painting ideas from all over the place...all the time. It's been fun combining some of those ideas into a speed painting style that leaves the miniature with the appearance that it its half in shadow. It was also fun giving that style a silly name. Thank you so much for watching!

Thank you! I'm using a Canon R50 camera with an older EF 24-70mm lens (with EF-R mount adapter). In this video I have the aperture set to F 4.0, which has a very tight focus range, and makes keeping the miniature in focus a nightmare, but lets in plenty of light. In the video I'm recording now, I'm experimenting with reducing the aperture to F 16, and increasing the exposure to keep more of the miniature in focus. Hopefully it doesn't make things look to washed out. Thanks for the question!

I love this. Do you have, or can you recommend, a video on drybrushing? I kind of know the theory, but the practical has always eluded me

Thank you for your kind feedback! Artis Opus is probably the authority on dry brushing these days. He achieves high-level finishes with his dry brushing, beyond just normal slap chop. Check out this video here: ua-cam.com/video/kxuY2NXeI2M/v-deo.htmlsi=zPiLC6OtGOzM153N
