Hey guys I hope you all enjoyed the video. Now this run took a lot of time to to practice for, so I would very much appreciate it if you could like and maybe even share the video so that even more people can see it. Anyway you guys are the best and I wish you all a nice day ^_^.
Oh that's simple, I played a bunch of armored core games before the release of AC6 to get a feel on how to speedrun these games (I can especially recommend Armored Core: For Answer if you are looking for an even faster paced game) + I also got the game a couple of days before release, so I had a bit more time to practice the boss paterns etc. ^_^.
When I read title of this video, I expected some unthinkable skill, speed and accuracy - but I saw normal gameplay, sometimes erroneous, sometimes clumsy. Something that I could have done myself - but did not )) This makes your playing even more valuable and interesting. Thank you.
Speedruns for this game seem to have a lot of interesting choices. you cant buy every part, but you need to beat a variety of missions. You need to be fast but killing enemies can give more money for parts. Training gives parts but are optional.
Yep, + arena battles are the only way to get OS-tunning upgrades like the after boost kick, so you really have to plan beforehand what kind of build you are going to go for ^_^.
Really impressive. I knew the shotgun was strong (I abused it with a dual shotgun build during my playthrough) but I have been missing out on the KICK during the Assault Boost. Never realized how much impact it has!
shotgun's too slow for prolonged fights tho i can make a cup of tea, drink it, walk my dog, and complete all rememberances in elden ring by the time it takes to load a 2nd shell
Is it just me, or does this game seem really pure? It doesn't try to pander to anyone, it just is what it is and still doesn't lack for anything. It's honestly relaxing to watch. I would buy it if I had some money lol.
Yes, no, maybe. Does go into the usual 'capitalism bad' stuff with corporation bull, despite corporations not even being possible without government. Also, just as all Form games it's rather mediocre in coding and pretty sloppy in many regards, this time around also super short
trying Quick Boosting forward when your Assault Boost is about to end. It carries some of your momentum out of the boost instead of the abrupt stop from just letting your EN run out. In missions (especially bosses and enemy AC fights) where you have a melee, try sword canceling. Basically, you start a melee and then quick boost at the end of the melee but before it finishes. It's pretty energy efficient and since you're cancelling the melee strike, your melee weapon doesnt overheat ever. Its slower than Assault Boost over long distance, but in situations where its not feasible to AB its pretty helpful. It doesn't do damage though, cause you're cancelling the attack. Also beware of target assist! its good for focusing on one enemy but it also makes you miss more often!
So I’m halfway through and you had an ACS strain missile shoulder, a plasma shoulder, a pile bunker, and a Zimmerman on a medium weight build. After using tetra/quads my first play through then transitioning to lightweight builds for a short time, I’ve actually gone back to a mid weight biped build with dual missile launchers, the plasma dagger and a varying right hand weapon depending on what the mission calls for, either a Zimmerman, the long barrel handgun, or either the ransetsu or chang Chen machine guns. It just goes the job really nicely no matter what scenario I’m in!
This was a fun watch, I also appreciate the lack of commentary as it make this video ideal to put on while trying to fall asleep Keep up the good work. Hopefully you can cut your time down in the future. ROOTING FOR YOU!
Very impressive run! Would be nice to mention this run was done on a pre-order edition of the game. Those Melander parts are not available to all players this early on. Its an official rule on NG category to not use Melander parts. I have no means to invalidate your impressive run but just want to enlighten you 😊!
I’m curious about the Swinburne mission, is it faster to keep attacking him, or faster to let his dialogue play agree to spare him, since one he starts leaving you can insta-kill him.
That's a good question. Considering that you can't skip his dialogue I think its faster to just beat him instead of having to wait for his dialogue to finish.
Man that Ayre fight was close. I dunno why people think Ibis or Balteus (pre-nerf) is harder. Ayre felt like a million times harder than anything else in the game. Especially in phase 2 where she Goku-s behind you non-stop.
Sure why not ^_^ It mostly comes down to building a fast lightweight ac that can deal a lot of damage from close range: Parts: Most of the parts you need for the final AC builds come from mission 11 (the one that has the baltheus boss fight) and mission 14 ocean crossing (which is the mission with the giant spiderlike boss). You can also get some pretty good parts to help you out in Chapter 1 by beating some of the early tutorial missions. OS Tuning: I highly recommend getting the Boost Kick, Quick turn and Assault Armor parts in order to deal high stagger damage. You'll probably need to beat about 3 arena matches, to get enough OST Chips needed for the upgrades. Here are also the share ID's for the 2 main builds from the speedrun (you can input codes in the AC Data menu): S1U4DQZK4QXJ (high melee damage) T3F2W1TDD595 (balanced design with good lock on) Let me know if you also need some tips on how to beat some of the tougher bosses ^_^
Mainly to unlock the lighweight AC Parts you get from intermediate support training 1. The booster part you get from that training mission is especially usefull throughout the whole game ^_^.
If that is the category where you can use a fully upgraded AC right from the very beginning (both in terms of the AC Parts and OS tuning), then it shouldn't be hard to even get a sub 2h run. Afterall you can skip both the arena battles for OS-upgrades + the tutorial missions for parts in that one, all the while unlike darksouls the enemies don't get more hp and last but not least New Game offers some additional shorter routes to get through the game ^_^.
Nah, you probably just need to practice a bit more (after all the omnidirectional movement + boost mechanics in the AC series takes a lot of time to get used to). In time I am sure that you'll be able to get really good at the game ^_^.
For the most part I used them since they reliably track enemies (+ the plasma ones are also great against shields), while also having a way shorter cooldown and they can be used on a bipedal even while moving (so you can evade attacks easier which is really important in a no death run). Overall they also have a similar dps thanks to that shorter cooldown compared to the other shoulder parts, but with less weight + energy consumption, which allows for faster boost speeds and energy recovery ^_^.
Sure, all you have to do is to keep close to him and use both the AB kick and melee attacks to stagger him (since he doesn`t have an extra shield like baltheus he can be easily stunlocked that way) take a look at 2:10:55 ^_^.
Considering that similary to AC for answer you would have to play through the entire game multiple times to unlock all of the missions and endings exlusive to each path, will probably result in a really long speedrun (+ if getting S ranks is mandatory for a 100% run, then you would even have to replay all of the unlocked missions a second time, since you only get ranks during a mission replay).
Well, just as I said about the game's lack of content - '3-4 hours is no bug speedrun territory'... But damn, you already beat 3 hours... Guess even that is overestimating it? Now guess I'll assume a record speedrun is 2-2.5 hours lol... Edit Although wait, its a whole video without any loading cuts and other stuff... Nvm, sub 2 hours then lol
I mean Elden Ring can also be speedrun in about 2 hours without bugs, so I wouldnt say that AC6 is lacking content. In fact similary to AC For Answer, you are encouraged by the game to keep playing even after beating it once, since on NG+ you unlock completely new missions, bosses, parts and endings that are exclusive to a second or third playthrough (even existing bosses like baltheus for instance get new moves during NG+ instead of buffing his HP) ^_^.
@@NikoBellic0_0 Well except that speedrun i mentioned is not a high skill one, and it does basically ALL the content, side missions and arena included. An elden ring and/or dark souls speedrun usually skips a ton even if without bug use... Also i don't like the NG gimmics, its just a grind... Let me choose difficulty instead! Either way so far like 6 hours in and basically finished the first walkthrough, far too easy for me aside a couple trickier bosses that required some experimentation, and that's despite the fact i suck lol
Sure, the Balteus fight is around 53:27 While I am at it here is a timestamp for the other bosses as well ^_^: AC Helicopter: 3:30 Strider: 19:45 Juggernaut: 32:52 Balteus: 53:27 SMART CLEANER: 1:00:34 Sea Spider: 1:07:14 AC Helicopter 2: 1:30:14 CATAPHRACT: 1:32:56 RAVEN AC: 1:52:30 ICE WORM: 1:57:58 ENFORCER: 2:10:55 IB-01 CEL 240: 2:26:15 STEEL HAZE ORTUS/ Rusty AC: 2:48:25 IB-07 SOL 644 Ayre: 2:50:51

@@NikoBellic0_0...The game has been out literally for 4 days. Just how...?

I would buy it if I had some money lol.
That’s FromSoft for you. They just stick to their guns because it’s kept on working for them.
I mean I don't have enough money yet.
This game made me nostalgic for some reason. I never got to play AC games as a kid i started pretty recently (2 years ago when leaks started)
I know what you mean. It's just a game that wants to be a game and nothing else. It has no modern political pandering or virtue signaling.
Yes, no, maybe. Does go into the usual 'capitalism bad' stuff with corporation bull, despite corporations not even being possible without government. Also, just as all Form games it's rather mediocre in coding and pretty sloppy in many regards, this time around also super short
They shouldn’t nerf the strong bosses. This is why we try to find the best build
Tutorial Helicopter didn't inexplicably leave the mission area and pelt you with missiles for 5 minutes, run invalid.
Seriously, well done

Great job, mate. Really impressive you already can do this days after the game release.
God, i love the iceworm fight! That red lightning looks awsome!
I appreciate the V.1 cosplay :3
There are probably some optimizations for this run, but I'm glad AC data remains even if you hit newgame.

Crazy man, I hope to do a deathless run someday, somehow.
I am glad that you enjoyed the run and I am sure with a bit of practise you`ll be able to do a deathless run aswell ^_^.
Poot your mind to it and you can do it best bet is watch tuns of bild gieds and see what bilds work best for wich bosses

I too would fear the non-tank AC that tanks all my missiles face on, as to minimise their surface area while maximising shotgun-to-face ratio.
Good shit sir. Your pretty agile especially when you started getting good upgrades
Thank you, I am glad that you enjoyed the run ^_^.
This is the first time I've seen tasteful use of the Zimmerman lmao
a little tip for assault boost, when you wanna stop but keep momentum, press jump or quick boost, those wont slow you down like pulling the stick will

He's got all the gritty realistic dialogue sounding like banjo-kazooie.

Good lord... I can already see I won't be finishing this game any time soon.
Tap ascend at the end of your assault boost, will save so much time
Woah this is amazing ❤
Thank you ^_^
So it IS a boss rush game
Nice job
Thanks ^_^.
Wow all the fight was so close...
When s rank every mission isn’t enough
Would you consider making a video or writing a post on how to do this, a guide?

i feel like you’re good enough at this game to speedrun the Any% New Game category. sub 2:30 time?

So are you getting S ranks on all these or is that not how it works?
If I am not mistaken, you only get ranks through mission replays.
Genuinely wonder if you can 100% Speedrun, since if For Answer can be 100% i dont see why AC6 cant
