Thank you for being here every week for us Sara 😊. Do you maybe already have some video that explains also traditions, way that you celebrate Pesah? I was curious to see you have meal plan for 8nights - being such an important celebration, does that mean you are also free from work these 7 days? I love all your videos and am learning so much about Judaism, thank you! ❤️ Shalom
I was really touched by the part where you spoke of not cutting corners on the treats for the children so that the associated good thoughts and feelings for the special times - you are not only a good mom but a great spiritual leader! Brilliant!
I really enjoy learning the Jewish traditions even though I’m not Jewish, thank you. More pass over prep please 💜. I was raised as a Christian and have read the story of Passover many, many times and it was until recently when my grandson was born that I realized just how horrific it would of been in those times if one hadn’t listening to Moses.
More Passover Prep, please! One of my favourite things to do when shopping is to make sure I keep the prices down, whilst not losing out too much on quality. Having items that we do for more than one meal is definitely a good move. And ideas to use leftovers can be part of that. I'm not sure how it works for you all in Canada and The US, but here in the UK we can get supermarket's own versions of many brand named items. These are cheaper and in the majority of cases, the same or similar quality and taste. Most supermarkets are also selling what they call 'wonky' fruit and vegetables. All that's different is that the shape isn't perfectly uniform. But they are perfectly good in every respect that matters, and they can be a lot cheaper. So, for me it's fait accompli from the start. Markets, either open air or indoor can often give a better deal of any items. And it's nice to also be getting a proper human interaction whilst buying.
More Passover Prep Please! I love how you are so affirming, sending out love and good wishes to everyone who watches your videos. Your daughters are such good helpers and seem to enjoy this time with you. I cannot wait for your recipes. Everything always looks so delicious! Thank you and be blessed!
Hi Karen Thank you so much for your comment I always always love to hear from you and know what are your thoughts on my videos as I really value your opinion thank you again for being here I will give huge hugs for our girls on your behalf have a blessed day and I hope to hear from you soon
As soon as I saw the box of Matzo Meal, the memories came flooding back. My Mum always fried her fish using Matzo meal for the coating. We also had homemade chicken soup with the little dumplings and salt beef beigels with big juicy pickles from the deli. Growing up in London's East End, we were exposed to Jewish food from an early age. We also used to go to a Jewish luncheon club for the best fish dishes and egg enriched bread. It did'nt matter if you were a gentile, all were welcome. I miss those days but I still make the food. I do enjoy your video's. Thank You.
I am not Jewish, and will try to homemade Passover dinner this year, thanks for your wholehearted sharing. "Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies."
I could add my own “more passover prep” to the chorus, but am choosing to say “Your Super Helper is AMAZING!!!!” Every bit of assistance from the kiddos is SO appreciated - especially during times requiring lots of preparation. What a blessing!!! 💫
I’m not Jewish but I definitely agree but the thing people love even when they aren’t the cheapest is the way to go. It far better to have one bag of a crisp you adore than 5 you barely tolerate.
How wise you are. I'm more than old enough to be your mother and I still have not learned to make holiday meals easier for me by sticking to sure winner recipes I fully master. By the time I'm finished, I'm in such intense pain with arthritis that I don't have any energy left to be the graceful host I used to be. We were blessed with a 5th grand-child a few weeks ago 😇. I'm a good and creative cook but if I want to be able to keep celebrating with my expanding family in my own home I'll have to listen to you more attentively and let you inspire me. 🙏
I do sympathise with you I'm an old English great-grandmother and suffer terribly with arthritis. I'm not Jewish but love watching Frum it up. I love to learn how other people live n find this sight so friendly and relaxing. My Jewish friends always want to feed me, can't think why I'm quite Plumpshous lol. Best wishes n just take it easy and put a little chair in your kitchen. Grab any help offered and rest n go, rest n go. It's how I cope. Very gentle hug. Xxxx from across the pondx

Your videos are always positive and uplifting. I am not Jewish so I don’t observe Passover but your ideas about checking the pantry and planning meals from what I already have are very helpful. I don’t know what the proper Passover blessing is but I hope yours is peaceful

Hi Ronan! I am so happy to hear you are spending your Seder at your in laws: it must be so exciting! Mazal Tov for your conversion process! Thank you again for your kindness wishing you and your family a shavua tov ❤️
Hello!! I just stumble on your videos while I was looking for how to celebrate Passover. Thank you for sharing all these information with us! I have learned so much in just the few videos I have watched though I’m not Jewish
I would appreciate a video showing each of the produce items and how it's stored for long-term use. For example, some are stored in Saran wrap, some are stored in aluminum foil or paper towels, some are not refrigerated, etc. Mazel tov!
I spent way too much money on groceries today. I'm not Jewish, but a lot of your tips apply to anybody. When is Passover, and when is Easter? Aren't they overlapping this year? MORE PASSOVER PREP!! I need to Spring clean my apartment.
Hi Michelle! Thank you so much : your comment was so special to me as I really want to make content that can resonate true for people of any faith! I think it’s important to shop wisely and save money specially with what is happening! Yikes 😳!! Passover is from the 15th of April at night to the 23th of April at night And Easter is April 17th! We can keep each other company for our Passover cleaning!! 🤣😅😂🤣😅😂
More Passover Prep! I always learn something new when I watch your channel. I did not know there was a special designation for kosher for Passover. Our grocery store always increases the kosher foods at Passover time. They do the same thing with traditional foods for Easter. I always like when the two celebrations are close. The Seder meal (the Christian attempt at making one) on Holy Thursday is one of the highlights of Holy Week. G*d bless you, Sarah, and your family!
More Passover Prep! Thank you for sharing such wonderful tips and tricks! I learn so much from your videos, and I always look forward to seeing them. Can't wait for another!! 💐💜😊
You make Passover preparations sound like it is not a dreadful event like it is, with your sweet approach to everything. :) I suffer through Pesach without kitniyot (well, I'm Ashkenazi), every one of those 8 days I feel tired and cranky. I usually start to clean my kitchen right after Purim to decrease anxiety and urgency but every year something is not done on time or forgotten until the last minute. H' Bless you for your light and sweet nature, you made my day!
Hello my friend! I was like you for years!! I am an ashkenazi who married a Sefardic man BH! So I feel you!! With time I really had a revelation: the more I prep in advance , the more I come to Passover calm and relaxed! Also what helped was to learn about the Halacha: what really need to be done for Passover and not work on old presumptions!! Knowing that I don’t need to clean the walls, rearrange, reorganized the house as part of the Passover cleaning was also a HUGE factor for me to “calm down” and start enjoying pesach!! Please let me know if you have questions or need help: I am here for you! Xoxoxo
Totally agree about not adding new elaborate recipes to holiday time. I am not Jewish, so I am not referring to Passover, but moms of any faith, get stressed when preparing for a holiday meal. I learned long ago, to stick with my families favorites, and every now and again, if it sounds really interesting, we will try one new recipe. Hopefully it is one that can be made ahead of time. The scalloped sweet potatoes, was not a keeper. After that one, we stuck with what we knew 🤣
I (and most people) can really use the basic instruction of do things with less stress. No one wants a stressed out hostess no matter the holiday or event. Love your videos.
The past two years I made recipes that I only make on Pesach, so not only are they special but I know what to buy! It's just my husband and I at the moment but we are going away with two other couple friends so it will be nice to split the work with my two friends! I loved this video (and all of yours!) its helped me cope and enjoy being married and running a house while I still work!
Hi JF! Thank you so much for your sweet comment ! I am so happy you found a way to cook/bake things that you live and are special! I am sure it will be so fun to celebrate 🎉 Passover with friends: they are lucky to have you as a friend and cook ! Please let me know if you have questions or need help: I am here for you! Xoxoxo
More Passover prep. As I watch you shop, I think of the way I shopped when I was working . I ran through the store grabbing this and that, flinging it in the cart to just get done with the chore as quickly as possible. It wasn't like I had to hurry home to settle world peace. Sometimes the lofty goal was to just kick my shoes off. But I watch you shop first in observance of your faith, for quality, for best price abd maybe most of all, that each item will be an expression of love for your family. Sarah this is so inspiring and actually does give me hope in a world that is too often unkind, dangerous, counter productive. You are a living sign of faith to us and I am sure to those in the world where you are known personally. I wondered what you do at work about medicine 💊? I know there are kosher vitamins, but what about the medicines used in the hospital??? Penicillin comes from a mold and what about blood products? Can you have transfusions? Thank you for all the good you do in the world.
More Passover prep! J'en profite pendant que je suis à la maison parce qu'à l'école les commentaires sont bloqués. C'est le grand ménage et la planification qui commence, malgré que ce n'est rien de compliqué. Last year I made a dessert pear kuggle using tapioca starch. I also tried a meatloaf yesterday that I'll probably redo for the occasion. I'll mostly do from scratch. Maybe a couscous/taboulé salad with quinoa. Always practical for lunches. I add tuna for extra protein.
Niuuuuummm Poppy pour or menu! Je commence la cuisine aujourd’hui ce qui termjnera Mon ménage de la Maison : iL me reste que la voiture! BH on va voir comment ça va se dérouler BH XOXOXOXO
Another great video!! Thank you for sharing!! As for video recommendations, really anything you like to share is great. I enjoy your videos so much and your beautiful helpers! They are so sweet 😊.
I love how organized you are! Can I ask more about your head scarf? I'd love to see a video about this practice of why you cover your head and where you find scarfs. ♥️
Thank you for taking us along on your Passover shopping trip. I have a suggestion. I see you bought vanilla sugar. It might be less expensive for you to buy a small package of vanilla beans and put a couple beans in the container with the sugar at home. In a day or two the whole container will be vanilla sugar. The beans will continue to flavor the sugar each time you refill it. My grandmother always had vanilla beans in her sugar. 😊
Awwww your comment made my soul sooooooo happpppyyy🥰🎉🤗🥰🤗🥰🎉🤗🎉🥰!!! You are the reason why I created this UA-cam channel: thank you for taking the time to write me this amazing comment: it is going on my wall of Fame: the wall I look at when I feel I’m not bringing much value with my UA-cam channel and I doubt myself for even starting it! When I look at my wall of fame I see your message and it reminds me that it’s not about the big changes , the big numbers: it’s about connecting and leaving a positive footprint in the world one person at a time❤️❤️❤️ Much love coming your was as always xoxoxo
I have enjoyed all the videos of yours that I have seen! A little comment on the olive oil: this is especially true if someone you know has an allergy, say, to peanuts or soy (as I have!). Many olive oils are "cut" with other oils, such as peanut, "vegetable", soy, or corn, even if it claims to be "virgin olive oil". If you take a taste, on the tip of your finger, and the oil does not taste like olives, it may be "cut"! Good olive oil tastes only like olives...and may your G-d bless you!
thank you Hundo! thank you for your sweet comment:) I am happy that i am not your doctor because If I would be your doctor it would mean you are very sick so it would be a very bad thing: SO in a way i am grateful i know you here and not at the hospital : it means you are doing so much better xoxox Thank you again for being such an amazing human being and making the world a better place!
@@frumitup I’m currently growing peanuts 🥜 which is fun because I didn’t know what they looked like as a plant, but now I do! However tomatoes are wonderful because they smell really good and they are the gift that keeps on giving!

I didn't know that matzoh came in circles-I'm used to the Streit's brand lightly salted kind. They are great with soft spreadable butter (too fragile for the regular butter) and come in hany for quick breakfast, lunch or snacks
Wow! So much to organize.I always say this but I don't know how u do it! Shalom, Sara! Bravo! Another awesome video! Oh how nice it would be to have a Kosher store in our area. Or at least a store that carried half that much product. You have such an amazing selection to choose from. It would make grocery shopping a lot easier. I’m mostly plant based, but we do eat fish. I have to read labels on almost all products. Todah rabah! Your tips will come in handy. 💚

I learned long ago, to stick with my families favorites, and every now and again, if it sounds really interesting, we will try one new recipe. Hopefully it is one that can be made ahead of time. The scalloped sweet potatoes, was not a keeper. After that one, we stuck with what we knew 🤣
I totally agree with you ❤️❤️❤️
I (and most people) can really use the basic instruction of do things with less stress. No one wants a stressed out hostess no matter the holiday or event. Love your videos.
More Passover prep!
More Passover Prep thank you for sharing it's a blessing!
Thank you!

More passover prep. Thank you for another uplifting video. Stay blessed, you magnificent woman 😊
More Passover prep, thank you.
I can’t tell you what the sweet message at the end of your videos means to me ❤️. It is so nice to hear
More Passover prep!
J'en profite pendant que je suis à la maison parce qu'à l'école les commentaires sont bloqués. C'est le grand ménage et la planification qui commence, malgré que ce n'est rien de compliqué.
Last year I made a dessert pear kuggle using tapioca starch. I also tried a meatloaf yesterday that I'll probably redo for the occasion. I'll mostly do from scratch. Maybe a couscous/taboulé salad with quinoa. Always practical for lunches. I add tuna for extra protein.
Niuuuuummm Poppy pour or menu!
Je commence la cuisine aujourd’hui ce qui termjnera Mon ménage de la Maison : iL me reste que la voiture! BH on va voir comment ça va se dérouler BH

I love how organized you are! Can I ask more about your head scarf? I'd love to see a video about this practice of why you cover your head and where you find scarfs. ♥️
Hello sweet friend!
I will do a video soon on that subject BzH! Stay tuned ❤️❤️❤️
Thank you Sara Malka, thank to you we decided to keep kosher for Passover this year.. ❤️ ty for the inspiration
More passover videos pls
Awwww your comment made my soul sooooooo happpppyyy🥰🎉🤗🥰🤗🥰🎉🤗🎉🥰!!!
You are the reason why I created this UA-cam channel: thank you for taking the time to write me this amazing comment: it is going on my wall of Fame: the wall I look at when I feel I’m not bringing much value with my UA-cam channel and I doubt myself for even starting it!
When I look at my wall of fame I see your message and it reminds me that it’s not about the big changes , the big numbers: it’s about connecting and leaving a positive footprint in the world one person at a time❤️❤️❤️
Much love coming your was as always xoxoxo

I have enjoyed all the videos of yours that I have seen!
A little comment on the olive oil: this is especially true if someone you know has an allergy, say, to peanuts or soy (as I have!). Many olive oils are "cut" with other oils, such as peanut, "vegetable", soy, or corn, even if it claims to be "virgin olive oil". If you take a taste, on the tip of your finger, and the oil does not taste like olives, it may be "cut"!
Good olive oil tastes only like olives...and may your G-d bless you!
Thank you Elizabeth!
Merci Sarah pour vos magnifiques vidéos. Je vous souhaite à vous et aux vôtres une Magnifique Nouvelle Année. 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Wish you could be my doctor. More Passover prep. I love Passover .

Your videos are so informative and fun to watch. Your voice is so calm and soothing and relaxing. Thanks for taking the time to make these videos!
I can see why you shop so strategically. So $$$$$ expensive- especially right now.Amazing all the kosher/Jewish products you have in ur store. Look forward to seeing your salad recipes, especially.Your devotion to ur faith and ur family is very inspiring! Wld love to hear about ur life as a Dr.sometime.I am sure you are a wonderfully caring one.

Hello sweet friend! Yes combining kosher and vegetarian for Passover can be a challenge in terms of replacing the protein coming from tofu!
I would love to know what is your typical Seder meal!

I find these videos so entertaining and interesting. I'm a Christian from the UK and this shouldn't really have any interest to he but i find myself addicted to watching. Keep up the good work. Love the videos. Some really interesting recipes for me to try too.
