  • I love hadrosaurs but few figures really do them justice. This is one that does! Available with superb customer service from Everything Dinosaur here www.everything...

    Just want to let you know you're one of my favorite dinosaur figure reviewers - I love the attention to detail you have in each of your videos, especially in the close-up ones like this where it almost feels like we have the model in-hand as well. Great stuff!

      Aw thank you so much, that means a lot! 💖🦖 I honestly don't expect anyone to really watch these, it's just a way of me sharing my passion for my figures, so it's always great to hear that others enjoy it, too 😊

    Great review as alway. PNSO nailed it here. Awesome sculpt and possibly the best paint app they’ve done.

      It is exquisitely designed blended, I really do have to take my hat off to them for that!! And thank you 😊🦖

    I love the Safari Edmontosaurus, but I find its pricing a little unreasonable. It's £21, despite being smaller than the Camarasaurus and Diplodocus which are £14. Consider also that the Feathered T. rex is £16 despite being quite a bit better in detail, size, and paint.

    • @aeonfire82
      @aeonfire82  2 роки тому +1

      Also the detailing on the Ed is basic for all it's effective, and the sculpt is a little slender and lanky, but I let that go! It's a very striking figure and definitely one of the best hadrosaur figures out there, and my colleagues were all most impressed with it 😊 Also unlike the rex the paint doesn't wear off if you look at it for too long 😜 I do agree the pricing us erratic, PNSO suffer the same. I reckon the Pachy should cost up to £10 less than it does

    I got one of these! Olorotitan is hugely underrated, when I first saw the leaked images I was blown away. PNSO have designed it to the way I had imagined it would be! 🤩

      Me too! I've been a little reluctant to go ahead with their other hadrosaurs because they are a little idealised and flawed, but this one is just such a beauty 😻 And it's one of my favourites, so it's a winner!! I really want them to do Ouranosaurus

      YES we need an Ouranosaurus!! They totally will, at some point 😁 I hope they start doing more feathered dinos, too

      @@aeonfire82 Now that you said it, PNSO have been lacking dromaoesaurs! I did tell them to do a Dakotaraptor as it was marketable. But then again PNSO are unpredictable!

      They will undoubtedly produce some more, every other company (even Rebor) has! The ones they have produced look to be very good, even the miniatures, which bodes well for any future ones 😊

      My friend Joel ordered one recently and found that the seam line that's visible on the crest of the early release of this figure seems to have been fixed! It's a minor thing but it makes the figure all the better, and I hope yours will be the same 😊

    If I'm remembering correctly, DinosDragons' Olorotitan was able to stand on two legs - as opposed to being a tripod
    If you're interested you could try hairdryer-/hotwater-treating your Ivan's legs so he can stand on two legs, showcasing PNSO's engineering prowess (:
    But thank you nevertheless for another great review, I'm considering getting this beauty for myself as well, to join Biber and Rook~

    Hadrosaurs are my absolute favorite family of Dinosaurs and yet, PNSO produced another one with balance issues. Even in your exceptional review the fact the feet aren’t flush with the counter surface is evident. The limbs and feet are undersized and again, an odd twisting of the torso serves only in exacerbating the balancing issue. Only Wyatt has sculpted limbs in scale with the figure . Should you review Wyatt I’d like you to compare the limbs and feet with PNSO’s other hadrosaurs. Only Wyatt has sculpts which matches fossilized trackways. Cheers , and many thanks indeed for posting.

    • @aeonfire82
      @aeonfire82  2 роки тому +1

      Yeah the weird little feet are one of the reasons I've passed on their other hadrosaurs (apart from the amazing Wyatt) thus far, but issues aside, I couldn't pass up on a figure of Olorotitan of this calibre 😻 It does annoy me that hadrosaurs (and ornithopods) really don't get the respect they deserve, there seems to be a mentality that they were analogous to delicate deer-like creatures, because they weren't covered in horns or spikes, and I feel it prevents sculptors from getting a feel for what they were really like; and that undoubtedly they were more analogous to the large, belligerent herbivorous mammal families we're lucky enough to live alongside, than the small ones

      @@aeonfire82 ; Dr. Bob Bakker called them ; “ The Cows of the Cretaceous.” But, if we could stand in the presence of a cow14 meters in length and 5 meters high at the hip I think we would eat our burgers with side of humility .

    • @aeonfire82
      @aeonfire82  2 роки тому +1

      Absolutely! 🙀 And cows and members of their family can be moody and dangerous and temperamental and they're so strong, so I think hadrosaurs most certainly would not have been meek and shy creatures. They need more respect!
