Btw after opening the first room of the Ridge, you can instantly go back to the safe spot in the purple keycard room, and stay there until Pandemonium spawns. This helps because u can get max 1 Pandemonium per Ridge, and if u get it there, u won't have to deal with it again, only with Angler and its variants. We did this when doing the This Badge Sucks badge, and also I did it in my lockerless run.

1. I will make a video soon on all the safe spots I found 2. I was testing to see if these spots can cover my body. If there are no safe spot ahead when light flicker I will try to using these spot as last resort. I have no idea they work or not but I think 3:48 spot have a chance to work(I survived at a similar spot before), dont think 10:29 spot would work as it is too exposed. 3. I noticed pandemonium didnt show up the entire run when I making the timeslamp. It was lucky that I didnt encounter pandemonium but it still possible with pandemonium as long as you hide somewhere out of sight when it comes(such as most of the side rooms except the one with window or broken wall and behide something at T-shaprd room)
I've noticed that if you get a side room in the underwater section, if you get pande to spawn you can swim to the upper corners of the room close to the door and survive pande.

Speed has nothing to do with it killing you hitbox of angler variants is always the same so you actually got the luckiest spawn cuz chainsmoker speed allows you to have more time to hide if it caught you it means your spot wasnt secure to every angler not just chainsmoker

Question: can you do this in co-op? If one person hides and you don't, do you still get the badge? And if you happen to ONLY go inside a locker where the purple eye tentacle is in that tries to eat you in the locker... And then your friend saves you after, will it still count as "hiding"?
At the moment I have died a total of 125 times across mutliple live streams. I've made it to the Crystal part 4 times but the first time I got to it I was SO CLOSE.
@@WujuCake no thats just how the challenge usually goes, being 70% luck, 20% random bs, and 10% skill, thats why it takes so long since its rng based i am a bit jealous though cause i was thrown the 20% random bs at the last door in the ridge and died by pand from no hiding spot lol
@@Crazayman4ever u can use statistics in ur advantage and also open doors quickly and try to predict next rooms if theres nothing to hide behind u and also in the ridge u have to be able to quickly tell which way is correct since ur constantly gonna be attacked by entities as well as maintaining control if theres eyefestation while in the ridge its a pain and alsooo sometimes entities delay so you have to be able to do good decisions, like stay or rush for a better spot in case theres Pande attacking
always remember (before the ridge) if the previous room has a spot to hide, in case of emergency keep running forward and pray a spot will spawn, prioritise hiding out of sight instead of out of range in case of pandemonium, never give up cause hiding stupidly might still bug out the angler, try to remember monster paths cause sometimes the only hiding spot is the path opposite the one angler will take (frogger takes the other path upon hitting the closed door, so you might need to be proactive in walking), be quick in figuring out which doors are "good people" cause often life and death depend on hiding out of range in front of the "wrong" door, in the ridge usually wait out the timer spawns, most rooms in the ridge have a safe spot but sometimes it is another safe spot where you have to move to stay out of sight, and finally do not accidentally misclick on a locker. When in doubt, gamble the way out. always pray to rng.

I'm gonna kill myself I thought it was the end after taking the crystal and escaping the rocky area, then I had to fix those 7 cables but I couldn't even fix one, to make things worse I was so excited because it was my first run getting that far, I bought the rev coins just in case, and they were useless, the game told me its impossible to revive once getting that far 😭😭😭

At 15:55 you can hide behind the server boxes instead of going to that room
it's too risky to do that bc you need to have a good position to ensure that entities cannot raycast you
