Yeah.
Unlike the anglers, pandemonium actually has a reason to kill, due to their decomposing body, they have to chase after every possible life form to consume to continue existing be it, whether it would be a cow, a cat, or a human.
In a nutshell however, they simply do because they need to replace their decomposing flesh with fresh ones by absorption

Fun fact: The canon way pandemonium kills is he forces people into his mouth which contains an acid-like substance that dissolves the person, and because Void Mass is basically void, you could say they both kill expendables the same way. Also i imagine the way pandemonium killed void mass was *slurping him down with a straw-* (because it's PUDDLES of void mass, which means it's technichally a liquid)
