Wingfoil gybe learning process/crash reel!

I flew the drone while my mate Jesse was out working on his gybes on the Wingfoil. Over the course of 2 days he stuck at it and eventually managed to crack it!

1.) Lean forward, yes lean more forward
2.) Handle the wing over your head like a pizza
3.) bend you knees and carve into the jibe
4.) let go the wing with one hand
5.) still carving and look where you wanna go!
6.) have fun! ;)

4.5) move wing to the outside of the turn so it doesn’t backwind in your face. This was the key point for Jesse 👍🏻

Your foil breaches in the jibe are a consolation to me, I do exactly the same mistake!

I'm jealous! I'm a windsurfing foiler and it took me many sessions (like a few dozen) to get to the point where I could pull off anything resembling a decent foil jibe.

It’s tricky on the windsurf foil! Everyone learns at different speeds - Jesse picked it up super fast
