Amazing restoration including parts that had to be machined and modifications that will likely make the machine perform better. The painting is good work as well.
Watching old tractor, or even old car startup, shows that a certain level of mechanical aptitude was expected of all owners of all early vehicles to be able to start them. I can't help but think there are many folks out there that cannot drive a vehicle with a manual transmission, let alone be faced with a manual choke on their car would be at a loss. Not trying to be mean or anything, just mentioning how times move on. 😎
I have two Tappet / Lifter Cast iron assemblies made for this Big 4 . They have V 59 cast into the side . Both in very good condition with one partially cleaned , and the other with as found very old dirt and grease . Can someone pass this information on to Alex Fuselier ?
As an old school machinist who's come up thru the ranks, as well as making the transition to the CNC world, all of his comments on the machining side of the project are spot on, including his one on his shop having a few pieces of equipment of unusual size. I like working for shops like his; that's why I like my current employer.

Interesting. So... all those guys that volunteered the time, money, and energy into helping him build that... will they get a share of what it sells for?
Probably not Most farmers In the usa dont ask for money but rather have a back scratch policy You scratch my back I'll scratch yours Usually the favor will be returned later, he may help restore another guys pickup or help another guy fix a barn ect

Amazing piece of history. For all of you people that brought this amazing piece back to life, thank you! I can understand why the original owner did not like this unit compared to the steam power do to the lack of torque that the gasoline engines had.
A very interesting story of the tractor, Thanks to the artist guy and your whole team for restoring this wonderful technique for us. This is the story.
