- ...and a few Scanias thrown in. ;)
This was a rather heavy video to put together. I compiled every single cabover clip I've ever taken throughout my truck spotting career. (2015-2022) Some clips are out of order, and I am sure a few are missing. However, I still hope you all can enjoy this spectacular show of old iron in action!
Enjoy! - Авто та транспорт
They used to make trucks with sleepers to allow a fella to get a good nights rest. Today its go go go and be monitored by GPS and some pencil pusher, bean counter. Back in the early 80's these machines seemed almost alive, rolling down I-80. Just works of art. Great video Austin!
Exactly
Seeing these old trucks makes me want to be a trucker
Same here in the UK. Go go go!!!
It's because technology os improving, that's why GPS is getting more detectable as well as the iPhones.
If I were to become a trucker one day, I’d love to drive an old cabover. They look much cooler than the modern trucks. 😊
Me too, specifically the Mack and Ford from the 80s. Mack cabover is my favorite brah. I know they still on sell on few dealerships, but I don't know what will happen in 10 years. Things can be changed based on laws and parts can be discontinued from industry. The only thing is I know that Mack is a powerful and competitive industry.
Seeing all of those cabover semis bring back memories & I miss seeing them roll down the highways here in the USA. I like that gray & white Mack one at the beginning. Nowadays the USA is one out of very few countries that have a small number of cabover semis still in service.
Yeah, there is like from 1 thru 5 percent of cabovers in U.S. In IWOA, Indiana, or New York you maybe see a lot of old trucks. In Illinois is rarely that you a cabover or a 70s generation convoy.
Most of Europe and Asia use cabovers, what are you on about?
@@gauravshah8448 Cabovers are rare in North America.
Idk what is it about a cabover...but ive always been attracted to them !! Gotta love a cabover !!
Man these trucks were made decades ago and yet they are still running like beasts. Shows how strong they made em back then
Specially the Mack and Freightliner cabovers.
Love the old cabovers!
Great footage of some stunning trucks. Nice to see a Scania there even if it is only a 112 from the mid 80s. Powered by Scania,s own in house 11.2 litre straight six putting out around 350 bhp. Scania are famous for their own V8 engines putting out as much as 770bhp these days.
Most creators dont read comments this long after a video posted, but in the event you do read this, l wanted to thank you for all your time and resorces you have invested to make this video. I owned and operated a small fleet of trucks for 45 years and for 20 years they were cabovers. I just happened to run across your work and it brought back so many memories. Thank you again♥️
You’re very welcome, glad you enjoyed!
Well said, I did too.
In 1990 I drove Big Red..1987 Freightliner she was powered by a Detroit with chrome dual stacks and a 10speed...she was my baby..Red and chrome.. loved how that Detroit Growled...It's a love affair for Cabovers..as I'm sure you get it...Thank you for the memories of great rigs!!
Incredible Trucks 🔥🔥
I love american trucks 🚚
perhaps the most enjoyable 40mins on youtube
I agree alot!
Nice, my local k100c, road commander 2 and cl-9000 and others are nothing to any of these! Wow I love it
Yes!! I've always wanted you to do a cabover comp!!!
I love the square front face, such a classic
That blue ford clt9000 at 28.02 is awesome ! Thanks for sharing
If I’m right, that’s a kid making these videos. He has a good eye for the old iron. Good for you
Really diggin’ the MACK Aerodyne Cabovers
Nice compilation video!
Remember them all
You need to come to western Maryland, there are several of us who still use cabovers for work, the business i work for owns an international that was stretched and has a 32' flat bed for hauling hay.
First truck I ever learned to drive 2as a Marmon cabover,I really love driving and sleeping in that rig.
1:40 starts a dream
2:21 every one of those show trucks are beautiful
2:35 something is really nice about those horns
5:58 I wish I could see that in person
6:16 is quite familiar
10:11 that clip is perfect
10:57 I have no words. Two Ultraliners and an F Series
15:27 those are both beautiful
15:56 I just want to keep this time stamp for reference
18:06 yet again
18:26 the best sounding motor
19:22 is this something to expect on 33 in the summer?
19:46 a Scania that isn’t Miller’s? That’s new
19:54 I remember the day I caught that
21:06 do you have any idea where that guy goes? He’s not far from me and I’ve caught him once, but there’s no set route that I know of
21:16 a perfect candidate for a boat horn comp
21:56 familiar truck yet again
27:36 a combination of a Detroit and glory horns on an old cabover. It doesnt get much better
29:15 it seems I came across that one again..
33:31 that’s another beautiful sight. Two of my favorites.
19:33 that’s when all us locals roll out in the AM for the show in Harford PA. It’s every September. I don’t remember the route too well as last year was my first time going, but we take 512 from Johnsonville to 611, then 611 all the way out to Route 80. Past there it kinda gets fuzzy for me.
😄I’m glad you love the cabovers Austin got, but why do you not like the Baby Shark?😄lol
While musical horns are fun, I’d say it’s only worth it for a plastic. I don’t want to pump a truck expecting the beautiful sound of the boat horns then getting that instead.
Am surprised to see that scania there
A cab over show ain’t complete without a White Road Commode!
I drove a white road Commander as we called it road commode
28:02
Nice Ford CL9000!
😃Amazing Vid Austin, there were some rare Cabovers in it too!😄
Sick! Great video as always
I LOVED EVERY SINGLE ONE‼️
🇺🇸🚚❤️🚛🥰🚛❤️🚚🇺🇸
Cabover, the way REAL trucks are built 😍😍😍😍😍😍
I would love to se modern cabovers in North-America, built like the european ones, with flat floor, high roof, air-suspension etc
Nice, awesome!
That was so cool to see wow
The one at 0:33 sounded exactly like the stock sound effect lol
amazing vid! The truck at 0:49 looks like the 1 they have at ETI! Its in my most recent vid, not sure if its the same but same company at least at one point. 7:07 theres gregg 😎and what a way to end the vid with his rig. Keep up the good work! Love seein all these classics still rollin.
That green & yellow Freightliner looked like a John Deere semi.
Well I did see mack caboover this morning
Cabover trucks are awesome, they're hard to come across nowadays, I've seen a few of them in CA
You need to come to Australia, where B doubles, B tripples & 2 trailer road trains are common. You'll have to go to the outback for triples or longer.
Conventionals, slant nose (like SAR Kenworths) & cabovers all mixed. Though Most road trains are American, but Volvos Scania & Merc's on trains too.
@@johnsergei I like how you guys still run the old Kenworth k100s down there. Some of the best cabovers ever made.
Clt9000 is one of my top 3 favorite cabover
Hey. Very awesome dude.
Nice vid!
at 14:57 there was a C Series ford Cabover fire truck, it would have been cool to make him honk as well :) Loved the video thank you for this, my dad drove trucks some I saw in the video brough back memories to hear them/see them
I love cabovers but have to have dual stacks and classic trucks with the stacks on the side of the trucks 🚚🛻😀.
Good video I think I saw everything except a Japanese White. There use to be a Guy on 78east before you get to the bandit truck stop that take pictures I know he got a couple of my nice cabovers
I drove a mack cabover back in the days ....real iron....nowadays in the plastic world they recycle 2 of them to make a new 1
Great material! I have driven many COE. Owned one, would like to get another one before I retire. But not paying the inflated prices they get now.
8:24 is absolute perfection!!!

3:40 he also has the baby shark doo doo horn but those boat horns are better
4:51 that sounds like a Detroit 2-stroke
8:21 K100 aerodyne
12:42 meep meep 😂 *I think the horn brand is Hadley that's what they sound like*
15:23 that looks like an X Werner Truck
24:19 *overnight transportation was brought out by UPS*
24:27 *rip my ears*

Greetings from the Ohio Porters! ❄️ These cabovers look so, so good in 2022 still! 🥰 It’s good to see some still somewhat working and getting around! Is there really a SCANIA here in the USA? Wow!! 😳 You sure caught some beauties!!🤩 Did you get your fill of trucks in general? Cabovers Rule! We love the cabovers in our family! Blessings to all of our truckers! Good stuff! 🇺🇸😎✌️
I,m from the uk,i have a large collection of usa cabover trucks, i found aScania dealership in new jersey once, dont know if its still there!,
European Cabovers rule, especially Volvo and Scalia.
SCANIA!! I hate this iPhone!
@@henryblanton6992 🇺🇸 I’ve seen some of the cool cabovers you have there. I know that they still are used quite a bit there, but I’m not much of a Volvo or SCANIA fan. Maybe I’m a bit of an old truck enthusiast. I sure like the bigger engines we have available now with more power. But Cabovers Do Rule! 🥰🤩✌️
Mack ultraliner was the beast in Europe,90s,E 9 engine
I’m gonna be at Macungie , I’m exited what’s you’re fav cabover
I think my favorite would come down to either the Chevy Titan or Ford CLT9000
@@AustinTrainsOfficial nice do they have any road commanders
If one day I become a truck driver and make a lot of money, I would like to purchase 2 semis, one newer(2010s-20s) and one older(80s). It could be "Volvo convoy" and a "Mack cabover" or Kenworth convoy and Ford cabover.
3:42 why does that truck have so many wheels?
15:07 Its for sale on marketplace.
They are beautifull
Look at Optimus Prime G1 he is THE GOAT !!
The black diamond T or reo was gem diamond reo we're a beast in the day those COE s we're huge the same goes for COE marmons

Wait wait ... (19:45) 🤯was that a Scania in the US ??🤔
I knew that was blankenships ford on the thumbnail.
Where did u take the video
This is 40 minutes of different locations, the best answer I can give is North Eastern Pennsylvania
do you know, which one the optimus??? but i know one thing, its impossible that optimus is one of that mack trucks
The title or name for the video should say "40 minutes of green Mack cabover with red chasis and some other cabovers"
the mack renault is a cabover

Your pickup truck is a Ford F-150
We have a Chevy 1500
✝✝💕💕🙏🙏💕💕✝✝
19:46 , 21:19 Scania!?
I really wish they still brought them to the states. Love scania!
29 minutes of a Green Mack Cabover and 11 minutes of other trucks WTF
The only thing I would have done different is not keep showing the same trucks over and over, you may lose viewers with that, the only reason I made it so far is I was waiting to see that Ford CLT 9000, i love those, never got to drive one, I wanted to, I drove almost everything else out there, but never got to drive one of them.
