Regional was insane. Didn't get to play due to hitting the player cap, but I knew I picked the right deck to play this format. Godly to see this win the event.
I was there too and I was pretty sure Branded was going to make top cut but I wasn’t expecting it to top
This was the absolute worst ran regional. Everything that you could expect to go wrong, went wrong. The worst part was that the doors were suppose to open at 7 but that was a lie they opened at 9 instead so it was a 2 hour wait just to get into the venue and then we didn't start playing our matches until 1 and there's suppose to be 8 rounds of swiss. This regional was also on a Sunday and anyone who had work the next day and had a long drive home was screwed since they started super late, people were leaving by round 2 or 3 just due to how late they were going to have to stay. Im from dallas so I left at round 3 and got home by midnight even though I was only X-1. They capped at 450 but the capacity of the building was 260, if a Marshall walked in they were fucked. The only way you could pay for anything there was cash and there was no atm. Omg the line to register was crazy, there was a line for your decklist that you had to do first and then a separate line to register thar wrapped around the venue. The big problem was the the lines were merging like a snake so you could be at the back of the line to register get halfway, then realize you're in line for the decklist or you could be stuck in line near the back (like me) and the line barely move for an hour just to realize that everyone was cutting in line just to register. The sad part is that if you didn't cut in line, you didn't make it for registration before it capped.
There were only 3 judges for 450 people so you were usually screwed if there was a ruling question and they were already busy. To find your round there was no QR code, just a paper with your name on it at your table number but the kicker is that there's only one list of it in the entire venue for 450 people. I'm probably missing alot more stuff but this was a terrible regional and I advise everyone to avoid Houston for yugioh regionals.
Was indeed a shit show, we decided to not even play and we had paid for a hotel the night before.

For my first regional ever, it was a wild ride, I was barely one of the last ones that made it to officially sign up for the tournament
List looks clean. I’m glad to see this deck doing well with some updates. Tri-Brigade is one of the only true meta decks I own, and now that I know I can spice it up with the branded engine and still compete, I’m hype.
Bro this regional was poorly ran to the extreme from top to bottom. Rounds were supposed to start at 10, but didn't start til 1pm. DNA comics needs to do a better job with future events. They had the audacity to charge the $21 and hand out legendary duelist synchro storm packs. Rounds took forever to start, it reminded me of a remote duel ycs. How did they expect 450 people to look at one list of pairings in under 10 minutes. WILD! Konami needs to breath on the necks of the people hosting these events, too much money is being put into coming to events for such a poor job. Just entry fee alone made them $9450. The venue was too small for the amount of people that attended. My friend paid with $40 to enter, and the lady tried being slick and not hand him his change back. But kept our cool, and exposed her, they said it was just a mistake. Major shout outs to the judges that volunteered for the event they were the only real help.
But major congratulations to Hector for winning, true worrier considering all the BS he had to deal with at this event. Well deserved win.

Thats better than just pass. Besides it acts like fusion destiny if you get stopped or hand trapped and you don't have to play weird if you draw it

@@Torpedoman316 if you're activating it from hand, you had no other plays anyways so I fail to see what you mean by your comment. The point of the card, like the REGIONAL WINNER said, it's like a plan B. If you get stopped in your combo or your cat gets stopped or literally anything to make it to where you can't play, you can activate branded fusion, and that not only acts as an interruption when you normally wouldn't have one, but it's also follow-up since Glory specials or adds a tri-brigade from deck. Its super good and I'm running 3 moving forward

Did I get it right? Plan A first turn board is just the classic Tri Brigade board? Or is there any way to make Apollousa + Mirrorjade first turn?
Revolt is the most important part. So there’s no realistic way to get Apollo, Jade, and Revolt all on the same board
@@dpacula63 yeah but if he does rescue cat combo, does he end on revolt, apo and lords or does he end on revolt, mirrorjade, dragonlords? What is the plan a?
@@fullorcustcombo he says in the video that Apollo revolt is the plan A. Branded stuff is plan B.
Its possible to end on an apolousa mirrorjade revolt. You ss a tri with frijit, get out bearbrum. Discard 2 to ss tribrigade from banished. Make verte with 2 effect monsters, make mirrorjade, use bearbrum and frijit for two negate app and get revolt. This deck has so many routes now i like it. Unless im missing something lol.

This regional tournament was absolutely terrible the judges were shit especially towards the end of the tournament the judges didn't want to call anyone for stalling or help anyone for rulings they literally also hired random people to play as judges and payed them with packs and cash absolutely a shit show

Yes, you never go verte first turn unless you get totally hand traped. It’s usually a plan C or D.
If the verte goes, just run 1 sprigans kitt (for omen search) and 3 aluber.
How can I know where a regional gonma be release? Im so confuse
Local game stores/official ots stores usually are the ones to host them so you should ask them directly
go to locals first then think about regionals

Gamma's cracked, they don't get to play 3 in the OCG and people base their builds on OCG lists but I definitely think more people should be maining Gamma if playing Branded Fusion

Hell yeah! I’ve been playing around with ratios for tri brigade so this is awesome. Don’t have talents so I’m gonna put in another revolt and Kerass and swap around belle for 2 more copies of crow. This deck has more options for branded than most. Just hope verte doesn’t get banned this week so I can try it out on Sunday. Once vertes gone so is this deck most likely lol. Congrats on first place
highly doubt they will hit verte. Remember that very good predaplant support is coming up. Theyll probably do an OCG and ban fusion destiny or DPE.
