    Being Caribbean, we dance like this all the time. But I love the fact that our ways of dancing descend from Africa. Being Black is amazing. We have such an amazing culture

      write a story, followed by a screen play, and do like Tyler Perry, find like minded people & do a play. In the long or short of it, you should put out there what you want to see. Your people will come see & emulate the effort. Good Luck!!!

    why do black people give away our culture so easily. Let me teach you EVERYTHING. This is why people think Kim invented box braids, and people think some Japanese dude dances hip hop better than those who founded it. Now you're gonna see becky getting props for doing African and caribbean dances that have been around for ages. It's aggravating. Stop living for UA-cam views and keep some things within the culture. >>i'm sure someone is gonna get mad cause I'm not trying to be inclusive but black people are the only ones who have their art forms stolen right under their noses and no one bats and eye.

Congo🇨🇩 and ivory coast 🇨🇮! Every single person in these two countries knows how to dance! Two years old know how to dance, even a baby know how to dance, a 90 years old person knows how to dance in these two countries! They are the best in Africa!! I'm just saying the truth! They know how to make bodies! They been the best before Facebook UA-cam Technology! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽😍😘

Its safer to say there are good dancers in every country,plus each african country has their own style and form of dancing which is diff. from the other...which is better off appreciated because diversity is beautiful than just making blanket statements like the one you've just made.

However, we came up with things on our own too.An example of this is whining. Whining came from Congo. Genres such as skoukous, rumba and many more. I think pretty much of dance moves all over Africa these days are Congolese.

    • @Nadel60
      @Nadel60 7 років тому +3

      Leilah Ziblim You stopped short of stating why you think I'm wrong. Every keen observer of current African music/ dance scene knows that in contemporary choreography, most of the move are derived or inspired by Congolese dance moves. You're entitled to your own opinion,though.

    • @Nadel60
      @Nadel60 7 років тому +7

      Leilah Ziblim It's a no brainer that Congolese are the best dancers in the African continent; dance moves such as ndombolo(which these ladies are giving tutorials on) coupe decale, Zoukus are Congolese. When you talk about contemporary African dance, you're basically talking about ndombolo and Zoukus, fused with Alkyada, azonto (Ghanaian) ,shoki and a bit of this and that. All you need do is to watch music videos of Congolese artists such as Koffi Olomide,Awilo Logomba, Fally Ipupa,Ferre Gola, werrason and budding artists like Michel Moutuoari, Shakelewa, Fabrigas, BM (the artist of this song) etc. Watch some online African contemporary dance choreographers such as Aron Norbert,petit Afro, Sherrie Silver,Ezinne Asinugo(of defunct London based CEO dancers) , just to mention but 4(all of whom are on UA-cam). Then watch dance moves on any trending African music videos, you'd get what I'm talking about. While it may not matter, I'm a Nigerian ;Nigeria Afrobeats is doing wonderfully well internationally. But Congolese music is synonymous with African music and Congolese are second to none in the African continent, when it comes to dancing....Congolese rule.

    • @Nadel60
      @Nadel60 7 років тому +1

      Adgegbe50 It doesn't matter....you understood what I meant anyway,sir/ Madam.

    • @Nadel60
      @Nadel60 7 років тому +1

      Adgegbe50 I understand where you were coming from. But there is one incontrovertible truth: Congolese musicians and dancers have projected those dance moves more much than the Ivorians, so much so that one wouldn't be faulted if they gave all the credit to the Congolese. That does not detract from the fact Ivorians have their own style,the Congolese have artistically married to theirs. That, in my opinion means that Congolese are notches ahead because they are more consistent and prolific in music and a lot more creative when it comes to dance moves and Choreography.
      By the way I'm from Nigeria, and a die-hard fan of Congolese music and dance.
      Peace unto you, dear!
