Actually the evermeans and yiga tree's are different enemies, as the yiga disguised as trees are set up as ambushes next to banana's. Whenever you find a yiga disguised as a tree the game will have a dialougue sequence where the fake tree transforms into the disguised yiga. Hitting these yiga trees will also trigger alternate dialogue where the yiga mentions how you saw through this disguise.
For further proof that these are separate enemies, you can find gloom evermeans in the depths, a property that only applies to monsters, not human enemies like Yiga.
Also the fact that they still attack Link even if he’s dressed as a Yiga unlike the Traveler/Researcher/Stylish Person disguised Yiga
Thanks for correcting the vid, I clicked on it just to say the same. I'm tired of seeing people spread misinformation.
Thank you for pointing this out, I'm so tired of seeing people say Evermeans are Yiga.
I’m so sick of this misinformation, thanks for clearing it up, now hopefully the community stops freaking out over dialogue before actually thinking.
Another proof that they are different is that Evermeans actually leave behind unique objects called Evermean Logs, similarly to other Monsters leaving behind monster parts, the log has +7 atk compared to a normal log and is more durable.
@@lyonformortiis2211 yeah, but it is an easy mistake to make. On my playthrough I only ever saw a couple Yiga ambushes, while running into evermeans all the time. I imagine with how big the world is, a player may not even see a Yiga tree ambush. Especially if they're making flying machines.
The evermeans and the Yigas disguised as trees are two different things tho. The Yiga disguised as trees change back into Yiga ninjas if you pick up the bananas nearbye or attack thme. So evermeans are just evil tree monsters.
That’s what I always say
Plus, when you fight Evermeans in the Depths, they're always covered in Gloom; something that you never see with the Yiga even in the Depths.
Isn't misinformation wonderful?
I’ve never fought a Yiga who was originally disguised as a tree. Where are they?
@@brycesonmoon655 They're usually never far away from a single bunch of Mighty Bananas that are placed in very obvious positions that give away the trap. Like in the middle of the road, for example.
upgrading armor twice isn't the max, it's four. One upgrade for each fairy. However you do only need twice for armor bonuses.
I mentioned this last video but the OoT house theme plays in the tarry town house that you buy
The lightroots and shines are more connected than you think. The lightroot inverts the spelling from the shrine
Yeah we knew fhat
Say WHAT.
The lightroot is actually part of the shrine
@@randomcatname7792 yeah, duh...
@@LandonEmma you're not too smart are you...
If people didn't know the first part, they probably won't know that part.
Also I highly doubt you knew about my post on this video, so don't act all knowing
3:53 that’s the animation for when all enemies die (it’s purple, yoga puff into red when they die). When he talks about disguising as trees, he means it literally since on the road to lurelin, there’s a bunch of bananas on the ground that if you pick up the three trees near it will turn into Yiga.
If you upgrade the Glide armour completely it has 4 stars. You need to unlock all fairies in order to upgrade it completely.
The evergreens are not Yiga. The Yiga gather in groups of 5 (?) normal trees with a mighty banana in the middle.
Here's another detail, when you use your batteries and you look at links waist, the batteries on his waist will actually drain, and when they recharge you can watch them slowly come back, it might sound like a detail that sounds obvious and stuff, but it's the little details that are cool
The evermeans are not trees that is only referring to the yiga trap with three trees next to a banana. I can be confident in this because the yiga trap trees show upnas normal trees (ie the camera rune doesn't pick up normal trees as a compedium item) also evermeans dont have the yiga disappear symbols when they die they poof in purple smoke and have a log drop with some items. While the yiga traps have the trees turn into yiga. Also i think evermeans will still attack you with the yiga set on.
To see the yiga trap go to east akkala stable then go southeast until you see ruins interact with the banana and see the trap happen.
If you go to the depths, you will see gloom infected evermeans.
Evermeans are monsters, not Yiga. Yiga member disguised as trees will reveal themselves when Link gets in a certain proximity. Evermeans don’t. Also we know Evermeans are monsters because when they die they poof out with purple smoke which is a standard behavior for regular monsters. Yiga members simply TP out when defeated.
if you wear some armor that gives bone damage up, and fuse a molduga jaw to a royal knights claymore. and damage it to it almost breaks. you can get some crazy dmage like 200!
Where the shrines used to be on the plateau is where the chasms are
The pool in turkey town is shaped like a house which is rly cool because Hudson Construction is obviously known for building houses
turkey town 😭
@@AegisGaming99 sry auto correct
@@_Bob-Omb_ no i get it
8:15 Ganondorf has a secret soft spot for the Twin Rova because they are canonically his adopted parents. They teach him how to master the dark arts and bring despair to others.
twinrova are in the cutscenes, at the kneeling scene with ganon, zelda, king and queen, and the molduga scene as well, they're both wearing their elemental color clothes and wearing gold masks
the yiga arent the trees as they explode into gloom, there are certain parts where theres a banana lying around and then they transform into yiga
When you pull out the purah pad, you don't fully stop, you slowly fall, and time slows. This is crazy, I am also a huge fan, and you are my faverote youtubeer
Cmon man, the Blupee going into caves comes up on the loading screen as a tip. I must have seen it 100 times now.
Evermeans aren't Yiga. The Yiga that dress as trees are the ones who leave bananas out in the open. Evermeans aren't Yiga because they appear in the Lost woods or korok forest along with stall monsters. Koroks also address them as monsters
Here's a detail: All the mines are located under towns.
And town ruins.
Not really, they’re located under mountains, never seen any under a town
@blacknight1641 Nah if you look at the surface map they're all under significant ruins of some kind or an active town.
@blacknight1641 Actually there are two located under mountains the story mountain mine and some other mountain.
@@haileypette7078 That’s incorrect, but alright.
The impassible cavern wall in the Depths mirror the rivers and water ways of the over world
7:30 it’s as if the game directly tells you this many times…
I found a blupee where link stands after exiting the shrine of resurrection in the first game
Did you know that kotake and kauma are in totk!?
Look at ganon flashbacks. You’ll see he’s usually with 2 Garudos with gold masks. That’s them! One has a sapphire in the middle of their forehead, the other a ruby
I just want to say a Movments ad that had the whole music video pretty dope
The Yiga Clan using trees is a substitution jutsu...
Evermeans aren't Yiga. Evermeans disappear like all other monsters when defeated, not like yiga (which are the only common enemies that don't turn into purple smoke). Evermeans also don't act differently to yiga armor or bananas. 0/3 yiga, 3/3 normal monster.
That dialogue was referring to a specific yiga trap where they turn into regular trees that do react to yiga armor and bananas.
3:09 the yoga are the trees outside of lurelin village, not the natural moving trees
TOTK fact: one minute in Gerudo = 60 seconds in Zora Domain
the names of all the lightroots are the name of the shrine they correspond with backwards
Evermeans are just new monsters. I thought that too when I first talked to him and they even have their own description in the Compendium, but the Yiga trees are usually 3 dead trees with bananans by them or just plain bananas by themselves. All of which if your are in full Yiga gear and hit it with a weapon it cuts it lose and they just yell at you to get your own and then you get to keep the bananas and not fight them if you don't want to. I just like pissing them off. If you hit them while they are still trees as dressed as a Yiga they have funny dialouge but they won't attack you until you reveal yourself as Link. Also the twin witches were surrogate mothers to Ganondorf and some of his most devoted followers, so thats why he honors them because of their connection to him in Ocarina of time, and while they aren't in the actual game to fight they do get a cameo in one of the cutscenes with no Dialogue behind Ganon.
5:16 Surprised no one mentioned this slick edit yet. Shame you can't actually sell weapons.
Knew most of these, but awesome! MORE, please!
...2 stars is not max upgrade, my guy. 4 is. You get set bonuses at half-upgrade.
Upgrading armor twice isn't "to the max". The max is 4, 2 is just how much is needed to activate set bonus.
Spoiler!
In the desert dungeon you can accidentally trap yourself in the boss room before the fight using ascend. Was trying to cheese my way through a puzzle on one of the top floors and saw what looked to be a boss arena. Backed out of there as soon as I realized but I’m curious if you can actually fight the boss before clearing all the keys or if you’re just stuck there until you ascend out of the dungeon itself.
You cant, I tried it
You don’t have to ascend out, the gate opens automatically once you’re up there, and closes again when you exit.
Kotake and Koume are the people who had mothered and raised ganondorf.
I was doing the Wind Temple when your video came through my notifications, and I noticed that fact before I watched your video.
Love the videos man, as an avid Nintendo fan. I applaud you 🤙 hope we can collab some day man !
5:00 It's just the "TAKE YOUR FRICKIN' HEART AND GET OUT OF HERE" theme. Ok, maybe not that harsh.
I knew you could scare the guy near the grate in the emergency shelter if you come in through the well, but I didn’t know you could do that to others.
The rock trick is nice, but some of those puzzles require more than one rock.
Cool video! Nice to see all the different details. Makes me interested in checking out the game even though I’m not a huge Zelda fan!
6:30 that puzzle is actually connected to a side quest you get from the treasure hunting brothers at the stable south of the south akkala stable
Bodies of water in the overworld are solid walls in the depths
i once used my canon shield near the arrow selling rito in tarrey town (idk if i spelled it right) and he had a little dialogue saying fire in the hole
WARNING!!! SUPER SPOLIER AND A SUPER COOL DETAIL!!!
Do not read this if you haven’t finished the «Regional Phenomena» quest!
If you wear the Zonaite Helm while having unlocked Mineru, you can see that her construct’s head has gotten some «new makeover».
See it for yourself, guys😁
Same with all the divine beast helms and their respective sages
@@blacknight1641 I noticed that. It seemed to be all the rage last week.
@@The_Ultra-Mask That’s not how ”all the rage” is supposed to be used..
@@blacknight1641 hmmm maybe you’re right. But i wasn’t too far off, right?
@@The_Ultra-Mask Well, no, I’m not an expert in english speech but I believe when something was ”all the rage”, it was a trend, such as fidget spinners, i could say they were ”all the rage back in (date)”
4:00 I don't understand...the monster is trapped, but is the one causing problems? Or does he want to be in the ship in order to make the snow storm? Or is that how Ganondorf recreates the snow storm.... trapping him makes the snow storm and keeps it right over the Rito village? Hmmm??
Also, are any other bosses trapped? Or are they free to move and just servants/creations of Ganondorf?
the evermean trees arent yiga. i found on lanayru promenade west gate. (in a crossroad that leads east to the promenade, north and west to kakoriko village) 3 trees and a banana on the ground, i aint stupid and instead of grabbing the bananas i bombed the trees. i got dialogue and a transformatin sequence, one of them died emidiatlly
Like the colgera details, also noticed the forest medallion design on the cage (originally was meant to be a wind medallion). Wonder if the other medallion designs are found within the various temples hidden in some capacity or another
Also the lightroot's name is the reverse of the shrine's
6:55 Is this a reference to the Spin Drill from Super Mario Galaxy 2?
I just finished the game yesterday!
Evermeans have nice loot, and they guve extra wood when chopped
Do all tears of the kingdom bosses ranked please
Great game love it
how do you use a different name for things every time, evermeans to evergreens, and in another video you did it with a bunch of other stuff like zonai devices too lmao
I beat the game last week
I finished it the second week
I alredy finished the game
The evermeans are def different thing s as they explode into malice and have no yiga markings or bananas also nothing changes if you wear the yiga armor, this video has definitely been worse than other given that the start fragment things aren’t secret as the game gives you one and tells you about it and also the set bonus isn’t a secret or fun fact more just a tip
I beat the game week 1
Hi my name is Jack I’m pretty new to your channel and I LOVE it , it’s my favorite channel on UA-cam,anyways if you have heard of the new LUIGIS Mansion 4 coming out on Halloween this year it would be epic if you would make a new video on Luigi’s mansion 4 I’d love it
Hey I just want to ask you two questions can you show me where the medusas are until their Kingdom and how to get the water temple unlocked and to get sides on to help you thank you😊
To be honest, the impact proof set bonus is not very good. I spent some time getting it and when I got it, it never really helped me; You can just pull out your paraglider at the last moment. The only thing I ever use it for is occasionally it is really dark when I'm falling into the depths, and I want to know I won't just hit the ground and die.
Oh my gosh we aren’t stupid we knew all of this, and there’s more interesting things that most people know that I know
I like how you imply that everyone who doesn't know what you know is stupid.
lmao 27 seconds ago
They aren’t called bluepees they’re called Satoris
The small ones ARE called blupees, i believe the lord of the mountain, blupees, and possibly bubbullfrogs together as a ”type” are called satori
Actually I have pretty much beat the game. Ngl. All shrines are done and all Light Roots too
Just looking at the comments and thinking to myself: 🫥
