Firstly they sell this in Waitrose. Supposedly for £36 but it's regularly reduced to £28. Secondly, I got 3 bottles for Christmas so after a lot of experimentation I've discovered that Fever Tree Lemon Tonic, ice and a slice transform it into something truly magical....
Naught Distilling in Eltham (Melbourne) Australia have just released a Sangiovese Gin. It’s gin strength and is super delicious. Makes the best sour ever!
Interesting. I just got a hold of a couple bottles of the 2021 batch and it's far more red then yours, looks almost the same as a red wine. Goes down a little too well to be honest, absolutely loving it. Got a hold of the Limited Edition Underhill Bloody Shiraz as well and that one really knocks your socks off. Great review as usual Bobby!
Two major on line bottle shops here in Aus have two different prices for FP Shiraz, $86 and $100? per bottle. The FP Rare Dry is 70 and next on my bucket list. Cheers Bobby
Good review Bobby! It was always intended to be made in that sloe gin style, hence why it's a little sweet and fruit forward. They don't add any sugar, but since in this gin they infuse the fresh grapes into the spirit and don't ferment them (like in wine) all the natural sugars don't get eaten up so go straight into the gin. This is a whole category of gin down here in Australia now, everyone is putting their own unique spin on it, you should try a few others too!
Vancouver Island also has a wine based gin made by Devine Distillery called Sloe Gin. Although we have a number of amazing gins on the island ... including Sheringham's Seaside Gin. 😉
I really like it - it makes an interesting martini but my favourite is on the rocks at the end of a night as a night cap. It’s expensive but considering you pay $50 for Bombay Sapphire and about $70 for Hendricks so it’s not out of reach. My main complaint is it doesn’t last very long, it seems to be empty within a few days.
Hey mate, there's a gin called 'Audemus Pink Pepper Gin' with top-tier reviews from multiple sites and awards on top. Seems like the sort of gin that'd have to be reviewed to be believed...would you mind giving it a try??
I love ice cream and I love ketchup, but I would never put ketchup on ice cream! Anyway, I won't knock it because I've never tried it, but I'm not running out to buy this one. Thanks for another entertaining video Bobby!

You'd be hard pressed to find a liquor cabinet without Bloody Shiraz here in Aus! It's a must have, especially here in Victoria ♡
How much does it go for down under? Might have to migrate to get some affordable bloody shiraz

I love this gin. It's just so bloody expensive here in the Philippines!

Jeez.... What currency is this?
@@BakersTaste Australian Dollars - we have a lot of tax on alcohol
@@JustinThomas7 A lot of my gin bottles seem to have a hole at the bottom.
If you enjoy port try looking for Conker Gin Port Barrel Finish. Interesting stuff.
As a Shiraz lover and a Gin lover, I want this very badly
Great video Bobby, wine and gin is definitely different!!!!
Bobby would you review the Tanqueray Malacca? I thought this would be quite interesting…..
Will do Caren! 👍😊
Bobby, mate you know that I like my gin, I also like good wine, but not in the same glass, cracking video, cheers.
It still tastes like gin, especially if used in a cocktail or with a mixer. It's most "winey" drinking it straight.
Very interesting, I don't like that colour, but I want try it. And after I wanna drink a Shiraz wine...

Thanks Adam. I’ll see if I can find some! 👍

You’re welcome Gene! 👍😊
Good Grief, I think this gin knocked the wheels right off your trolley! 😁😉
Please review Larios Gin! It's really cheap here in Spain and I think it's pretty good but I'm not an expert 🤷🏼♀️🍸
Thanks K. It would be great to feature another Spanish gin on the show! I’ll check it out!
You'll really want to drink this with Schweppes Bitter Lemon not Tonic. Nice mixed with prosecco too.
Interesting find!!
Hy man try some New zealand gins like scapgrace, dancing sands, i hope you love them
