For the prices we have to pay and the wait time for the customization, New Era should give us the full capabilities as a designer to truly be a “New Era By You” and that means all the logos and colors that are available for anyone with a New Era Account to customize. I understand current New Era caps are already expensive, but I wouldn’t mind paying the extra for fitteds that I know I created and are detailed the way I want it.
I hear you but New Era isn’t going to give customers the same abilities as a New Era account holder to the consumer. They would run into too many issues just in producing the hats alone. A small number of mlb teams with no side patches is more likely and hopefully we see that in the future.
With the reaction they’re getting I’m not surprised it’s for a limited time. The people who have been waiting for it to come back can get what they want and then NE can decide if they want to continue or not.
You can actually check out after you do the the front logo. You dont have to do all three. & if you get crafty with the letters you can make something fire and get your own custom patch stitched on the side once you get it.
So what I’ve seen from 2017 where you can design your own hat that’s amazing and I wish they did the same thing this time also your not forced to add the embroidery on every panel I only added on one the back of the cap for mine I also used the NE logo that looks like just a logo I personally wanted to make a cap of my own with the intent of wearing it so I based mine off of one my favorite cartoons growing up and I made it pretty plain Jane like I said the only big new era branding is on the back of the cap and it’s the same color as the crown but if I could’ve done the same with my favorite team I would’ve

The things i don't like about it are one the orice point, two the amount of limitations that come with it and three the fact that you have to have the New Era logos all over the place. For that price point they gotta ioen it up a bit more ao people can get creative with it. Overall it's not bad though since it does give those who want to try something out the opportunity yo fo so. Maybe they'll bring it back at a later date or keep it but eventually open it up mote and it won't be so restricted and limited. But then again they may charge even more to do so. 😬😬😬 For now it's just not my thing but I'm not a hater either lol.

Exactly I wouldn’t care about the price if you can put ur team logo on the hat because I’m from atlanta n I only wear braves, falcons n hawks hats. For some reason the braves makes basic hats n other teams hats be 🔥 so if I could design my own braves hat I would slap down that purchase button so fast n the logos n creativity on it is so basic it’s not worth that price
I got a question: so i got my first fitted yesterday… when I try to curve it, it seems like it’s gonna have a fat crease in the middle.. any advice? I used the water bottle method and steamed it.
I have a tutorial up that shows step by step the steam and curve with a water bottle method. If there’s a crease that means the brim wasn’t soft enough or you didn’t wrap it around the bottle flush.
I'm sorry New Era dropped the ball on this. This feature has so much potential and they totally ruined it. First of all why limit the options to just the damn New Era logos and/or initials l??? The color options are decent but they need more options for main logo. Perhaps if they had original art you can use. For $65 you can pay another $10 and get an ALD fitted.
Maybe we’ll see more options in the future but I don’t think they dropped the ball. I think it’s perfect for the people who have been asking for it and waiting for them to bring it back. Completely different audience than the consumer who buys mlb hats and fashion caps. Id personally go buy ANY other hat before these. From literally ANYWHERE.

It lets you add to cart without some of the new era logos so you could actually make one that doesn’t have excessive branding
