That album will ruin your coins. If the plastic is sticking together, it is a PVC album. It is dangerous to store coins in. In a few years, your coins will turn green from using that.

I also love world coins as a coin collector for over 30 years my favorite silver coin to collect is the canada maple leaf 1 ounce .9999 fine silver but I have a very wide range of coins from Mexico to Asia all over the world about 15 years ago I started collecting one coin from each country in the world this year I was able to finish it.
Pre-1920 Shillings are made of sterling silver (92.5% pure silver). Shillings issued between 1920 and 1946 contain 50% silver. However, if your Shilling was minted from 1947 onwards it is made of cupronickel and is therefore less valuable.
don't use these king of albums ... the shine of the coins will eventually fade because of the material (PVC). Instead use coin flips made by lighthouse .

I understand your feeling..... I was always fond of ancient history; the reason why I started collecting old coins because I wanted to have a piece of history..... One thing I would say is that our Indian people will demotivate you and would say that we are wasting money.... But just wait we know it's worth which other desi people won't understand

@@artbyharshi Just a word of warning: The cheapest albums are usually made of PVC or Vinyl which completely corrodes and destroys your coins after a few years of use.
@@Hamzakilife2004 cloth or using trays is another idea I actually use trays for my Roman coins or if you have non acid paper you can store them that way. Just something that doesn’t harm the coin but keep it in storage some of it is just knowing what Reacts chemically with what. Also capsules if you can find non pvc ones.

There are so many fake coins😂...so first you have to check whether each coin in your hand is real or not...or else it's just a show piece with no value
They are not really ‘rare’ (some of them are) in Australia they mint a lot of coloured and fun coins along with common ones to celebrate and spread awareness . I just find them very fascinating, so I collect
