I love how everyone who comes here to South Dakota, fishing, are always wearing hoodies or cold weather gear. 60 degrees is prime :)
You are more than welcome, consider it an invitation, to come have a home-cooked meal in Garrison, ND if you decide you want to fish Lake Sakakawea reservoir. My wife is definitely the best cook on the planet, hands down. My house is open and the lake is primed and ready. No joke. I'll see you at the Bismarck Scheels coming up on the 21st. Looking forward to it. ~Randy
I liked your Videos more where you explained more and showed more fishfinder Images. In my opinion explaination is more worth than only fishing footage. Greetings from Germany using your tips for catching zander the europe brother of the walleye
I agree. Tom said he hated fishing shows with no instruction. He created one of the best UA-cam fishing videos out there. Now it's just 2 guys catching fish. Of course for money, you can watch the rest.
The fish finder content on walleye now is free

Mitchell takin a piss in the video....🤣🤣🤣
I'm working hard to learn how to catch these fish. Been watching your channel for 2 years, purchased the app, put a LOT of time in, and still not getting bit. PLEASE come fish Lake Cumberland, Laurel Lake, Green River Lake, and later battle the saugeye hybrids at Taylorsville and show me what I'm doing wrong. I'll NEVER give up on 'em! You make catching these fish look far too easy. Stay on the education train. Im soaking up all the knowledge I can from ya! Tight lines, Tom and Mitch ... 👍
Love seeing you in South Dakota finally...it's a hidden gem for walleyes. You should try out the Missouri while you're here...great fishing from Pierre all the way down to Yankton
I’m from Kansas we always go up to Webster and Waubay
@@trystanspiess4587 I always go to the Glacial Lakes
Missouri good up in ND as well
Yessir it’s a good morning , waking up to new boley content and the birds chirping 💪🏽💪🏽
Thanks for watching!
If you are still near the MN border try Big Stone Lake. It’s a border lake and It’s also a shallow fishery. Big long lake only about 10 - 12 ft deep max with big fat walleyes
Make the run south to NE lake Mac you won't be disappointed
Tom, thanks for breaking down another new walleye lake. We fished a new lake this week here in mt third day we boated a 28 and a 30-in walleye. Could not have done it without all the help breaking down new lakes on the walleye now app.
Well I missed seeing you in south dakota but I was busy fishing🤣🤣
Glad you made It to SD!
Was just in SD this weekend myself. Hammered a pile of big fish. Those shallow water tugboats are an absolute ball out there
Great seeing you guys fishing in SD. I live in MN and fish Vermilion often but always make a few trips to the Webster, SD area and Missouri river. And yes there are a ton of hidden gems to get out and catch fish. Surprisingly big fish at times in the smaller shallow lakes too.
Lots of good little sloughs with huge walleye in Webster area
Tom needs to do a Vermilion video!
@@donaldjdickinson I agree. Personally September and early October has been best for me for bigger fish. A week last September I boated and released 25 walleye between 21-29 inches. Over 200 13-18 inchers too so plenty of eaters out there too. Great fishery!
@@kentgrotewold6848 I've never been. But I've heard great things and the lake maps I've seen look very interesting.
Great video guys! Looking forward to seeing you guys in Fargo. Hey Tom have you got any news on truck and boat?
Another great video guys. Mitch, don't let that guy do all the talking. LOL 🤣🤣
You guys are the 💩. 👍👍👍
Everytime I fish South Dakota it's like 45 mph sustained winds and I curse that state and head back to northern Wisconsin. Get home and realize how good I've got it. I'll still go back though. Prefer the Missouri river. It's a cool state but that damn wind! Enjoyed this one, you guys just crawling along close to shore, that's how it's done.
Winds can be brutal but when it's nice it's tough to beat
Tom, you need to share that plastic walleye doll with your fishing partner. He looks under the weather.
Nice to see that you came to SD!!!
Gonna have to come back and explore some more
High prairie winds have always ruined my planned dokata trips in the past.
I live in South Dakota!! Come to angustora near Rapid and in hot springs. I’ll let you and Mitchell stay at my camper for free haha
Do you ever use bottom bouncers/weights on your crawler harness? Have a lake we use them on in 10-12 feet, what’s the best way to drag them?
0.9-1.1 mph. Figure 1 oz per 10’ of depth. Try a slow death hook and even a slow death with a float. Killer rig!
The Waubay/Webster area is incredible during May and June it doesn’t matter which lake you’re on you’re going to catch a ton of eyes. If you’re back in July bitter gets very hot pulling spinners with crawlers
Cool area...gonna need to come back
Just was up two weeks ago and caught a 4 man limit for 5 days
What lakes are the best
Nice to see y’all in SoDak! Next time make it to West River and fish Angostura!
How is the fishing at angostura? I'm in the northern hills and typically go to belle fourche because it is close.
@@Russ-nf9tv it was a bust for me today, I didn’t even get video. Others have done well at Angy.
I was using jigs and swimbaits..I think the people that do good are jigging live bait.
@@GunDolfOutdoors I'm still trolling worms and trying to figure things out, but its working to some degree. Have you seen suspended walleye down there? I'd like to try trolling cranks at some point, I just don't even know if that is an option around here.
New sub ! Liked 😀👍🤯🙏
PA/OH get no love? Cmon guys
What like are you guys on
Was it a the Missouri River? Or what’s the lakes name?
What were your water temps?
What simms pants are those
Mitchell doesn’t seem very fired up about being there!
He should be! Very special place for fishing and hunting
Mitchell seems a little groggy and dehydrated. 😂
Please give Mitchell a steak! He deserves it 👏
TB spankin Mitchell. I'm surprised Mitchell even likes fishing with TB. Might as well just pick up a camera and stick it on your shoulder when fishing with TB!!!!
You guys are living the life. Why don’t you keep a couple of fish then mitch doesn’t have to eat gas station food
Great video ... how heavy of a weight were you using? Speed?
1/4 oz.
1.4 mph
Thanks for watching
@@TomBoley great videos ... keep up the informative work!
I will be in NE SoDak in two weeks.
Will definately try the ACME products.
Nice to see you in South Dak. Our fishing is top notch. BTW how’d you find a day where the wind wasn’t blowing 50????
No shit I was up two weeks ago when that cold front hit. We could only really fish from 7-12 and 8-9:30
Love your videos, congrats on 100k!
Can you recommend some rod and reel and line combos for jigging, trolling and any other techniques but won't break the bank. I just got a Lund 1750 Impact XS and am still using Ugly Sticks and Pflueger Presidents.
I also want to upgrade the electronics and it seems side imaging and 360 are the way to go.
The boat came with just down imaging Hummingbird Helix 7. What would be the way to go if I want to get the electronics to the next level?
Mega side in a bigger screen and 360 seem to be the ticket to finding them and making precise casts at fish.
it's essentially never a pike on spinners, at least for me.
90 percent of them are naturally use to be little sloughs that filled up
are they still biting around this time? iss already august?
Is this by chance rush lake ?? Cause it looks like it and I seen somone who looked like you when I was fishing the bank caught a couple pike one over 30 and a nice 22 inch walleye
I think it’s a lake SW of Webster probably 30-40 miles …
@@blakebuilders8186 ah makes sense I never fish crawler harnesses any where in South Dakota always use 4 inch keitechs paddle tails on a 3/4 ounce vmc jig head or troll crank baits best for big walleye
These walleyes are thick and fat, just like me
Lol
