IS IT REALLY THE UK’S SCARIEST ROAD!??
Well, I can imagine it could be, if you're easily distracted by the spectacular views, and I would definitely avoid it in wet conditions if like me you're driving a front wheel drive 7.5 metre long motorhome.
I don’t think I would have tried it first time on my own. Being in convoy with three other vans with walkie talkies to help guide us along smoothly was a big help.
But not knowing, exactly what was to come around the next steep hair raising bend was part of the fun! I’m just glad we didn’t get too stuck reversing out of a bottle neck on the steepest and narrowest bits!! luckily the front wheels kept forward momentum.
