this looks absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!! and i loveeee your eyeshadow. i can’t stop looking at it and i automatically knew it was adept. i have to get that palette. i want to get the travel size of this foundation when it goes, but i’d like to get it on qvc if my shade wasn’t sold out already.

I loved the eye look!! So pretty ❤❤ Thank you for the review! I didn’t even know Tarte was releasing a new foundation!! I feel like I need an assistant to gather all the upcoming releases and send them to me in weekly emails😂 I have normal skin with slightly oily T Zone so I think I’ll try this with a powder (my NARS).

I may try the Tarte cloud foundation as I’m not into the dewy look but more of satin, soft glow finish and love my medium coverage as I have too much stuff to cover so skin tints and light foundations aren’t for me

I would imagine. They usually do with all of their foundations. Idk if it will be upon immediate launch on their site, but I can see it happening for sure.

Okay. I'm back! I got mine in the mail today and I got the lightest shade on QVC's website, 12 N Fair neutral. I got about sheer coverage and the shade was so dark 😢 for reference, a great shade match for me is Estee Lauder Double Wear in 1C0 Shell, and also MAC NC10. So I'm very fair. I honestly cannot make the shade work for me. I am okay with a foundation that is ever so slightly too dark, but that's like a tan shade... such a shame I couldn't even make it work because of the shade! Other than that, if you can find a shade match, the formula looked gorgeous and glowy on my skin and looked very healthy and juicy. Oh well, though. There will be more foundation launches for me to try 🙃
Hi to lighten the shade you may try the nyx total control drops. I've learned that from other youtubers lol

@Steff’s Beauty Stash of course! But yeah I am so used to it. There are so many foundations I can't use because there isn't a light enough shade. You have a little bit darker skin tone than me so 12N may work for you... I hope it does! 🙂 thanks for your constant reviews. I always go to you and your reviews when a new foundation comes out!!! Don't forget to try the ReLove Super Matte foundation or the Super Serum foundation available at Walmart.... both $4.98 USD!! 😀
I'm not keen on glowy anything! For me, a skin like, natural/satin finish is perfection. I know I could use a powder but because I have dry skin, I don't use them.
The coverage is beautiful though 😍

I tried this one today myself... in the shade 27S Light Medium Sand... BIG MISTAKE!! Like you've demonstrated, this one runs INSANELY dark!! I don't know what they were thinking? Yes, it's great that they've added darker shades, but now there is a lack of lighter ones PLUS they've made the lighter ones a lot DARKER! So I had to send mine back to QVC and while they're out of the Light Neutral, I doubt I'll even try that one because I'm afraid that one might not even work for me either! And I'm Light to Light Medium, warm toned.
So annoying when foundations aren't consistent across collections! The KVD Good Apple foundations aren't consistent at all 😑 Light 004 is totally different in balm vs liquid
I know!! Shades are definitely off with this one. I also noticed a lot were sold out too! Maybe try the travel size in the lighter shade when it goes to Tarte.
I know all about that! I will say I got a good shade in their latest foundation. I went with shade 10.
@@SteffsBeautyStash I was thinking of doing that actually, except now they stopped making the Light Neutral in travel size, which is crazy because that was one of their most popular shades! :(
May I say I think you look more beautiful with less eye makeup? I guess I’m a minimalist and natural beauty person. Still you have pretty eyes either way. I’m on day 2 and questioning the glow of this on my 56 year old skin. It’s more glowy than I thought. I’ve got dry skin and I’m giving it a full week. We’ll see.

I think this is pretty, but looked very light coverage on camera. Kinda a skin tint. The nabla I remember you reviewing, such a beautiful foundation. I like that Tarte does mini size, makes trying a little less scary.

Are you going to return that shade? Do they do that on QVC, or offer some partial refund? I would think with this being a new release, Tarte would want to help people get the right color for their skin tone and level so they can leave reviews based on the formula, and not bad shade matches.
No I’m gonna keep it. I rarely return stuff to QVC unless it’s really really bad. You have to pay for return shipping so just not worth the hassle. I’ll make this shade work!

Day 2 looked great on you. If it runs dark, this will never work for me. Even their usual 12N is my summer shade.
