@@leepky cats also have a keen since of smell. How is chemically saturated (soap, shampoo, conditioner) bath water possibly about the "freshness" of the water? The cats never jumped in to lick the bottom of the tub after I scrubbed and rinsed it with actual, clean fresh water.
The other day I took a bath, and one of the kittens sat on my stomach, and he laid down. His entire side was soaking in the hot water. He was totally relaxed, and he did *NOT* want to get up whenever I tried to get him to move, after a while.
Back in the seventies, we had a cat that would get in the shower with you if he could. He would be soaking wet, but just happy to be you. Dad told him he was cat, not a dog.
Cats prefer fresh, flowing water to bowl water. If you'd have left the drip, they would have continued to enjoy it. Not too much at once. It's sweet how they explore together in tandem.🐾🐾🩷🐾🐾 Such pals.
Oh, no! You've triggered the running water fetish! Before long, the kittens will figure out how to get taps running by themselves. You have only yourself to blame.
Every cat I've ever had loved to drink bathwater from the bottom of the tub. Can't even imagine what the fascination is. 😅
Cats are instinctively repelled by water that's been sitting for too long. The "new" water seems instinctively healthier to them.

@@ggsumner1947 Haha 😀that's great, I believe it.
@@ggsumner1947 I've seen some videos of cats that like to be in the warm water.
My cat does this too , running my water bill all the way up. Lol
You deserve all the kittens.
