The DS from the begining is DSi XL. in Japan they don't use XL but instead use LL to denote a size bigger than L, it's everywhere even on clothes.

you don't NEED to change the power supply for japanese consoles, they will handle american power just fine.

@@williamgregory5843 Haha right? I didn't expect it to work at all. All the games that showed up were a surprise so I might do a video on fixing them. I think besides Silver only 150-1 worked so if I have issues with the others I could send them on your way to take a look at!

Still watching the video but Here in the USA that would be called A Nintendo DSi XL ( DSi came out around 2009 if I remember correctly a couple years after the original DS and DS Lite came out and had internet capabilities like the Wii ) and The 3ds line of consoles first lauch 2011 and is completely different , Enjoying the video so far

Thanks for the info! The LL really threw me off. Also I didn't know about the internet capabilities, I had to pull out my original DS to remember it was before everything was connected to the internet lol. Thanks for watching!

Watching you open some of these I got the vibe you bought this off some kind of japanese serial killer who was in need of rent so he sold his trophies.
    Nice.

I used Sendico for this box but there are tons of other proxy sites that will act as a middle man for you. Sendico is pretty good if your gonna bulk ship but if you look around there are a lot of options and it usually comes down to where your located because shipping is the biggest charge

I'm living in japan. You can visit places like Hard-off (legitimately the name) and find junk piles of old consoles and cables. Pretty good treasure trove if you're into fixing up broken things. Japanese usually take care of a lot of their stuff very nicely, at least some of the older generation.

@@PatrioticAnarchist nice. That I did know a bit. One of the reasons I'd love to do if I ever get to travel to Japan would be to collect vintage and old tech.
