They could have put a jet engine in it and it would still be pathetic, lol. It took 4 salvos of gunfire and a wayward missile to bring down a single plane, and the only reason it shot the plane down then was because it had to circle around and get down low and pass right in front of it so it could hit it!!!!!!! Good thing this was a computer generated game because in real life this thing would have been wasted !!!!!

Зсу тунгуска я был командир Экипажа вотэтот было время постоянно вспоминаю свою службу войск згв в Украине и в г ютерборг балтийский море вустровски полу остров за два года весь згв и весь союз ездили в полигон вотэтот закалка СССР а не так что сейчас творится в стране армия .......... 2 года надо сделать 6 месяца кз остальное в снг вот тогда будет опыт обмена

The gamer controlled the Grison. A single Warthog had no chance to fly closer than 8 km. However, a salvo of two missiles at an indistinguishable dot in the sky is not so spectacular.
This is just a second line defense I guess. The Russians have very sophisticated missile defense systems better than what's in the US arsenal like the S-400 & S-500.

What makes the rounds go in a curved path?
Obviously bullets don't fly a curved path side to side. The sweeping of the gun barrels from side to side makes the path of the stream of bullets describe a curve.
The gun is moving while firing, so the rounds leave the barrel with horizontal velocity vector. Plus the rounds are accelerating due to gravity immediately upon barrel exit. Both of these combine to alter the rounds' path from a straight line.

Very realistic air battle. If I was piloting the A-10, I would have come around and laid more 30mmx173mm on the air defense system. Going to die anyway. Too bad Pilot has to aim before firing his cannon. Tunguska is aimed with radar and software. It can make adjustments on the fly. Hard to out-shoot guided air defense sending 4,200 rpm. A-10 has similar rate of fire, but less than 1,500 rounds carried total. Air defense has many thousands of rounds ready to ventilate any air or even ground threats.
or just get a agm65L and launch that bich at 10k alt about 8 miles out and turn away lase until it hits. ez pz

In real life this thing wouldn’t have been an issue once it gave away position by firing at the out of rangeA10. The second A10 would have locked on its position and taken care of business. Both plane would have returned to base.

In a real scenario, that radar-directed firing means the gun itself is announcing to all airborne units its presence. Turning on radar on the ground in the same spot is suicide. Got to be mobile or shoot and scoot.
EA-18G would either take it out itself, or direct HARM carrying F-16's to do so
you have to remember that this tank is capable for ground fighting. The Syrian army took advantage and eliminated most of the rebels on the ground !

Rubbish simulation... the A10 is a ground hugging strafing aircraft, NOT a fighter combat Jet.. jeez. It is designed for such non moving tank like targets and one so out in the open would rarely last a single pass.

The A-10 can't line up for a shot without getting hosed head-on, dude. The A-10 was not designed to take on AA ground targets.
It seemed like it took several times for air defense weapon to strike the target craft? The target craft did not fire any flares to protect itself either. The target craft could have fired munitions well before it was shot down!
Flares are useful only against heat seeking missiles bud. They're not going to protect you against unguided AA rounds.
Neither flare or chaff they won't do shit against tunguska's radio controlled missiles

В Сирии и Карабахе они себя показали .... никак ! Панцирь намного современней "Тунгуски" и "Шилки", но и они оказались бессильны перед БПЛА , особенно перед "Баирактар" .

это ручное управление,всего скорее какие то учения,на автомате шансов нет уйти на такой высоте,при том что это не последняя машина,а модернезированая в 2011 году,а последняя версия тунгуски вышла в 2018 и там характеристики в разы выше,2 таких машины сейчас стоят в сирии на базе хмеймим,пока не пропустили вообще ничего не беспилотники,не ракеты самоделки, не ракеты ближнего радиуса...

That’s the reason there are usually at least two. As soon as this thing fired at the out of range target, the second plane would have taken this thing out. There wouldn’t have been no second, third or even fourth chance to take the plane out!!!

А потом возьмут и выложат в украинском телеграм канале, с надписью "украинские зенитки, сбивают русские самолёты над Киевом"
И все поверят, и будут показывать везде.
