Awesome trip and video bro. Love the old school hard yards ruahine hunting. You earn your deer in that country. Takes a lot of work to retrieve and carry out deer in that country. Cheers mate 🇳🇿
Shit hot chaps. New sub here. I live in Ireland these days so only get home every few years. I love the Northern Western Ruahines, flew in to Maropea forks hut a few times over the years and Flew into crows hut and R corner hut. These were roar trips bar 1 into Maropea. Haven’t been in the Ruahines since 2017. But we got a few on that trip and fucked up a couple of stalks as well. We seen about 12 that trip, some numbers in there at the minute. I got an old decent 8 in the Tararuas last time I was home in 2020 just after lockdown, he was roaring on the 28th of May! Anyways I’ll be home this April all going to plan but I’ll probably avoid the Notthern Ruahines due to the 1080 drop and hunt my local Tararuas. Shit this was some rambling!! Anyway what I’m meant to say is I look forward to more content from the mighty Ruahines! Cheers
