I have never seen someone actually using a junk journal. Thousands of making them but never the what next. I am so glad this was recommended to me. Off to watch more.

Love your pages. Especially the wrappers. It’s the little things. When your children are grown and you look back at that page it will be a fun memory. Children grow up so fast and your journals are going to bring back all those fun memories. Love what you create! What a beautiful kitty cat. She’s so pretty. TFS! ❤️

Sometimes I do put undue pressure on myself to journal only about “big” things happening in my life but I love the way you celebrate all the little everyday moments in your journal. It’s inspired me to do the same 💖

I love the way you incorporate every day items to your journaling ...is such a great use of things that are meaningful to each of us in a more structured manner instead of letting them accumulate on forgotten boxes or drawers. Thanks for sharing all you do, is a constant source of inspiration. Be well. Warmest wishes from Arizona!!

My favorite type of journaling is to include the everyday things that happen in life. Even if it's just a sentence of gratitude on a journaling card it reminds me of what I was thinking or feeling on a particular day. Love these pages and how interesting they are with all of the patterns and colors.

What a pretty set of pages Johanna! I really appreciate how everyday objects become a testament of a life well lived. Being a mother is such a vital role in our society. Ideas just seem to flow out of you…enjoy your videos.

This is how I journal! I originally did this in my "diary" but when it got fat, I took it apart, made signatures, and sewed them back in a new cover. Then it looks like a JJ, but its really my diary with keepsakes and drawings and my actual ephemera inside. Love it! I think this makes themed journals perfect for specific things, like vacations, travel, summer, holidays etc. Because they co-inside with what you're putting in it!

Free play journaling is so therapeutic, so perfect for these days. We had no electricity or running water for three days due to extreme weather in Texas. I need to journal now that the worst of it is past. I like your note to yourself what you want to remember. I’m making a little Golden book Red Riding hood junk journal, so not actually journaling. I need a notebook to write down my current thoughts about our blackout and all we did to live without our normal power. Just a little idea from your video helped me with ideas 💡 on how to document by looking ahead to record the past. (If that makes sense). Thanks.

It's nice that you share what to put in journals, I've collected lots of stuff and photos, i find most of the videos are how to make the journals, not how to fill them up. My kids are grown up but I've got loads of Autumn nature photos from my walks, and couple of nature DIYs I've photographed.

So beautiful Johanna ❤️ How perfect is the swan paper for the photo! Thanks for the inspiration to press some chain of hearts. I always love seeing your precious ephemera and it’s heartwarming to see how much you appreciate the little things. My vintage linen journal from you is so full now but I can’t resist adding to it from time to time and there’s still space to write when another memory pops up. Sending warmest wishes xo

my journal is literally just a documentation about the walks i go on with my dogs at the moment. I love taking photos of them whenever they look cute (which is always haha) and the journal used to be more trips and hikes and stuff but nowadays it's the every day walks we go on and I'm honestly loving it because it kind of helped me I guess romanticise these moments in life that I'm grateful for...
I absolutely love these spreads, they're maybe my favourite ones in your new journal, not that the others aren't beautiful too!! I just love the colours and the ephemera together. I love combining lots of colours and making the spreads busy

The page is simply amazing Johanna! Your style reminds me of my mom’s old scrapbooks when there were no ‘rules’ to scraping!😂. I’m excited to head to our closest city next week to hit up used stores (praying some are open) so I can see what treasures I can find! That cat is so cute! I wish I could have another cat but mine gets super terrorizing to all new feline so we’re a one cat clan 😬. She’s super sweet though as long as she’s an only 😹.
