The New Generation

Transcript: When I look back, it's hard not to notice events that weren't that great. You know how older people tell the younger ones that their time was worse and so much tougher, not easy like today. That the younger ones are spoiled, when they had to suffer more with nothing. All of that negativity should stop. Can how they compare if they are different? Does that mean we should place negativity on the next generation? No. For my time, we had to use an encyclopedia to find information. We had to find the right encyclopedia section, there were A, B, C, etc. For the younger generation, they are able to use the internet to get information. They are able to get thousands of sources of information from all over the world about a subject all within seconds. The older generations didn’t have that. The system we have in place says that we must respect our elders but we didn't like it. We were stuck with encyclopedias until we were able to create computers. So now kids today are able to have that. Our generation gave them something special, social media. But with social medias, you can still hear so much negativity. How does that work? Ah, experience! Imagine if the new generation got a single drop of experience? That would blow all of the negativity out of the water! From computers, to phones, to tablets, they all are able to band together from experience to work towards a common goal. Should we put them down again? No, we should support them, encourage them, send them loving words. Remember, someday they will be 18, be able to register to vote, and go to college. They will find a career, maybe even become a politician. Then they will decide for YOU.
